Was a lovely place to stay, perfect if you have a dog you want to bring on holiday. Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay and Jess the host was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful, spacious cottage with everything you could need for a few days away. We all enjoyed relaxing at the cottage in between trips out, the upstairs living space has lovely views and ample space for family meals, cosy reading corners and lots of streaming services to log into. There’s a lovely pub next door that does stone fired pizzas, shops within walking distance and dog walks accessible from the door. The Rivelin valley walks are a few minutes drive away and are great for couples, families and dogs. Sheffield is accessible within 15 mins in the car, great food halls, craft beer places, cute brunch spots and much more. The Peak District for walking and visiting cute villages, outdoor pools and caverns is also within 15-30 minutes. A great place to stay and so much space

We spent eleven nights in this lovely house during our trip to the UK. We liked the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great shower. The location is ideal for exploring the local area and a great base for walking. I would definitely recommend this property.

This is our favourite place to stay when we visit Halifax, especially when we want to bring our two dogs. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Piece Hall, Shibden Hall, the Bankfield Museum and other places we like to visit, but it is quiet and feels like countryside. Fields are on two sides, with deer and foxes that sometimes pose for us in early morning or at dusk. It's always clean. Everything we need is right there. We especially love have enough of a freezer to bring a week's worth of our dogs' favourite food. In the Halifax area we really don't want to stay anywhere else.

Lovely place to stay. Great location and a great back yard to enjoy the sunshine. Lovely house for the value.

We had amazing birthday's weekend. Place is very quiet and perfect for a walks. Just 3 minutes walk from the cabin is a swimming pool, which you can book in advance. A cabin was very clean , had all the necessary facilities. A hot tub and a grill are a great thing ! Highly recommend! Thank you Katie 😊

Only our 2nd time using AirBNB so we are still new to it. Excellent communication from our host and caravan was in a lovely peaceful location on site. Site was well located for exploring the area and two excellent pubs within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Impressive pool, garden furniture and landscaping to make the most of the sun. Ideal location for touring local sites. Izzy and partner were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

We had an unforgettable and special stay at this beautiful house. The sunny woodland walks among the snowdrops and around the lake were a delight, and we spotted all sorts of wildlife. Our dogs had a great time running and playing in the open field, and the small children (and big kids) in our party absolutely loved the play area, tennis court, and swimming pool… but the highlight of their stay was the hot tub! Meeting our host, Robert (and his little one), was lovely too. The house had everything we needed to enjoy some quality time together in this lovely historic setting — it’s a rare gem. Thank you once again for an unforgettable experience! The little ones are already asking when we can return to the big house — we hope to come again soon!

Brilliant location, we stayed at Clover House before and after our wedding in Sheffield with a party of six. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation and the hot tub was lovely and well maintained. Also loved the goats and great space in the field for taking our dog with lots of walking available nearby. We also visited Matlock farm park 5 minutes down the road which was a big hit with our 3 year old niece. Overall great dog friendly house and location, and host available and responsive to queries. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Had such a wonderful stay at this location. The amenities were amazing, particularly loved the farm produce and onsite pool! The hosts were always responsive and keen to help. The place was spotless and well stocked! Would love to stay again!

Lovely stay, cottage is hard to find at first as the address listed doesn’t take you directly to it. There is no parking for the property however parking is available on the road adjacent or in the village which is just a 2 minute walk. Some gifts were left which were a lovely touch and the beds were very comfy. The cottage felt very homely and was full of all the basics you need for cooking and cleaning etc. Overall very nice stay compared to some of my previous trips and I have recommended the cottage to family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is finished to a high spec and in a great area. there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink within easy walking distance and we found the locals to all be very friendly and chatty.. our big dog is like a celebrity wherever we take him so that's always a conversation starter! For other dog owners - the yard is VERY secure and you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub without worrying about them. There are light coloured carpets in some rooms downstairs but I had read that on previous reviews so bought many blankets and towels to cover the floor where the dogs would walk and lie.our dogs wouldn't go to the toilet on the yard and the grassy area isn't enclosed from the owners area so we made sure we had them on a lead. Not really an issue but I didn't realise the garden wouldn't be enclosed..only mentioning it to help others. We didn't get to meet Scott but when I had a question he was always super quick in replying .will definitely be back

Lovely place, ideally located. Beds very comfy. Log burner was great and kicked out a lot of heat. Great pub a stones throw and a chippy. Nice touches with the bath salts and lovely smelling soap. DON’T forget your towels!

Our stay at the Grooms Lodge was our second and we're so glad we booked in advance to secure our Easter vacation here. Julie is a wonderful host who contacted us prior to arrival to check our ETA and to make sure everything was ready for our stay. The accommodation has everything we could need ie fridge, oven, kettle etc. The shower room is well speckled and very clean. Once we were parked on the private driveway we felt safe and secure letting our dog play and wander around the garden. Seeing the horses in the fields helps us to feel relaxed. Plus the canal is very close to the property so we enjoyed many morning strolls before joining our family for Easter celebrations. We both feel completely rested after our stay at The Grroms Lodge. We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Allie’s cosy cottage in such a beautiful spot in the peaks! The property was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The view from the kitchen was stunning... and a real bonus was getting to say hi to the lambs on the farm, which made the experience even more special. It is the perfect base for some beautiful hikes in the Peak District, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a countryside escape. Thank you, Allie! - Jeremy and Amelia

Frank was very welcoming and friendly, providing us a private place to stay whilst we visited family. His place is immaculately clean with plenty of ammenities and is located within walking distance to cafes/restaurants/takeaways. We absolutely loved it here, it was very peaceful and relaxing, the hot tub amazing and the host was reachable at all times. The welcome goodies were a lovely surprise. We will certainly be back.

We had a lovely break at the Piggery which was exactly as described. The cottage was clean, comfy, peaceful and very well equipped so provided everything we needed for a relaxing few days. There were plenty of nice walks around the local countryside and the secure outside space was ideal for our dog, so highly recommended.
