The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Wake up to the stunning panoramic views over Glencolmcille Village, Glen Head and the Atlantic Ocean that are simply unforgettable.Glencolmcille village is only a ten minute walk and has a shop with fuel pumps, two pubs one serving lovely home cooked food,a cafe , post office and restaurant . Close to Glencolmcille beach and the folk village. The Slieve League cliffs and the silver strand beach are a 15 minute drive away. We have an EV charger.

There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

The Bluestack Way runs along the renowned Ownea Salmon River, which is only a stone's throw from the house. Explore the nearby trails and forestry, enjoy a good book under the Wisteria pergola or simply soak in the hot tub - whatever takes your fancy!

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.

Ann's Country Cottage

The apartment is attached to my home. It is situated on a hill overlooking the sea and valley below. Guests enjoy the amazing view and the peace and tranquility of the countryside. It has its own private entrance and ample parking. Weather permitting guests can sit outside and read, listen to the birds, enjoy the neighbours sheep, or take a peaceful walk.
