It was so nice to make this place our base for a few days while exploring University for my daughter. I only wish we had had a few friends with us! We didn't end up needing all the space there was, though we certainly didn't mind having it! It was beautifully and interestingly decorated, and very clean and well-supplied with anything we'd need. The only thing I wish they had was a little manual describing what can and can't be used and how to use them of the various heaters etc. And a map or guide to the city would be great too, though of course we could find things online. I 100% recommend this place to anyone who likes a little character and not a faceless soulless space to be in while traveling!

Flavia place was great. It was everything we needed for a quick stay in Halifax. It definitely feels like a loved home with lots of character. Everything was spotless and we had a great sleep there. Thanks again.

A perfect spot to stay for a couple of nights in Halifax. It felt like with a 10-15 minute drive you could get almost anywhere in Halifax from here, so a perfect location. We had our dog with us and the fenced back yard was perfect. There was a cute park just a 10 minute walk away that our dog loved. Very grateful for the ease of this spot!

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

Alex and his house are amazing. I would give Alex 10 Stars out of 5 if I could. He was very accommodating and very responsive to us before, and during our stay. The house is well equipped throughout, including the kitchen to do everything you need. The view is out of this world and is like something from a movie. The rooms are spacious, the living areas are perfect to relax and look at the Atlantic Ocean whilst ships cruise past. Access to the beach was easy and the little peninsula has a fireplace that just completes the whole package. It is private and just what we needed. I highly recommend Alex and his spectacular house for anyone and everyone!

Jennifer is a SUPERB host. She was Sooo nice, always recommending things we could do to keep our family occupied, she’s a very pleasant person. We felt right at home in her spot, very clean clutter free and NOT to mention her going out the way putting up holiday decorations and a Christmas Tree for my 5 year old to enjoy her annual Canadian Christmas. It was like we had a fairy godmother always watching out for us. We appreciate that soo much.

We really enjoyed our stay. Kate was awesome as was Nikki. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the short walk to Tuna Blue. We also went to the Hubbards beach, which was a short drive. We will definitely be back again!! :)

The cottage in Hubbards was ideal for our stay. My daughter loved the little playground behind. Everything was clean and it was an extremely relaxing stay. Thank you for your great place and kind discussions whenever we passed each other during the days!

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

we absolutely loved our stay in the cottages! We were able to use a lot of their amenities, Kayaks, boat, pool.. it was so much fun and we made some great memories as a family! Thank you to Katelyn for the great cottage and customer service, we hope to come back again :)

Doris’ place was excellent. The house and yard were beautiful, quiet and private with access to the lake. The place offered Something for everyone in our group (7 of us between the ages of 11 and 75 years) to keep entertained and relaxed. We had the best time and would love to stay again. The amenities were as described in the listing and she was a very responsive host!

This place was just what we needed for our stay in Halifax. We were within walking distance of local restaurants and a cycle shop where we could rent bikes. The inside was cosy, clean, and really made you feel welcome. Andrea was responsive and a lovely host! Would definitely recommend. :)

great host. the place was amazing. I did mess up by not reading close enough and book a place where it had people living upstairs, but it was my laziness and honestly the family were silent through the night. if you're staying somewhere for a week or more this place has everything you need. highly recommend

My wife, friends and I had a great time in Nova Scotia and Candace's location was perfect for us.

A rustic apartment with a second floor entrance at the back. Parking was limited. A nice spot close to the downtown scene.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Beautiful walks nearby, well-equipped kitchen, quiet but still not far from the airport. And the best: very nice and helpful hosts!

Had a very comfortable stay here! Everything was clean and Alison was always available for us if we needed anything

I cannot begin to explain how perfect the Green Suite was! The check-in was a breeze! Cartney greeted us upon arrival, and offered to help us with our luggage. He proceeded to bring us around the back of the house to show us the suite, and provide some tips and show us all the amenities the suite had to offer. We were also greeted by Mylo, a sweet pup! He just wanted to meet us, and then he was on his way! The suite, where do I begin? The thought and passion put into the decor, the comfort, the amenities… simply incredible. Every item available for use in the suite was labeled in both French and English. The kitchen was stocked with all essentials. Lots of beverage choices, such as tea, coffee, bottled water and canned pop. The suite had a bunch of snacks/food that you could buy by way of an honour system. Craving chips, hot chocolate, nuts, popsicles?…the honour system cantine has you. The jacuzzi was so clean, and so relaxing! I’m running out of characters. I could write for days!
