Javier was a very gracious and accommodating host. He made arrangements for our transportation to and from the airport and organized a great snorkelling trip to Cano Island. Homemade breakfast was ready for when we planned to start our day. We were very satisfied with our stay at Happy Feet and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Drake Bay.

Wir waren einige Tage zu Gast und sind noch einen Tag länger geblieben, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Die Unterkunft ist super, die Familie total sympathisch, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sprechen nicht gut Spanisch aber wir haben uns sehr gut verstanden. Der Supermarkt ist gleich um die Ecke, der Strand fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Man kann hervorragende Touren von dort unternehmen! Wir empfehlen zu 100% und kommen gerne wieder!

Pension de famille parfaite pour notre famille de 5 personnes. Erickson a été formidablement accueillant, disponible et à l’écoute de nos besoins. Sa maman nous a préparé un délicieux repas un soir, nous avons vraiment passé un moment inoubliable dans un environnement calme, propre et propice à l’observation de la nature. Le village et la plage sont très proches en voiture, ce qui a été pratique. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés cette location et espérons avoir la chance d’y revenir un jour 💫

The cabin is in a small and laidback resort. There is a yoga shala, and the staff can help with booking tours and more. The location is very remote (twenty minute walk on the beach), so it's adviced to pack light. It's also a beautiful place, with a big private beach but also in the jungle. We observed all kinds of animals, including macaws and monkeys. There are no nearby restaurants, but there are meals in the resort at extra cost. All in all a great place, and we would have loved to stay longer if we could.

Wir waren zwei Nächte bei Johanna und Manuel und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Alles ist wie beschrieben und gut ausgestattet, die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral und ist in 10 min zu Fuß vom Strand erreichbar. Manuel hat uns sehr kurzfristig (in der Hochsaison) eine Tour in den Nationalpark organisiert und war dabei sogar unser Guide. Man spürt, wie sehr er diesen Beruf und den Nationalpark liebt und wir haben wirklich viele Tiere gesehen und viel gelernt.

Die Unterkunft bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Bucht von Drake Bay. Kenneth hat uns sowohl den Ausflug in den Corcovado Nationalpark, als auch das Schnorcheln bei Caño Island gebucht. Kenneth war sehr hilfsbereit, proaktiv und extrem sympathisch - danke für deine Hilfe Amigo, bleib wie du bist 🤙! Die Anreise nach Drake Bay ist am einfachsten über das Boot von Sierpe aus zu erreichen. Am besten keine großen Koffer mitnehmen, sondern mit Rucksack anreisen. Für eine kurzen Trip nach Drake Bay ist diese Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Direkt am Strand gelegen, einfache und reibungslose Kommunikation sowie ein überragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

We were scrambling to find a place last minute as it was getting late. Nelson responded quickly to our booking and waited for us to arrive late at night. He was very responsive to anything we needed and very friendly.

In Juans Haus hatten wir mehr Dschungelerlebnisse als im Corcovado Nationalpark für 110 UD pro Person. Es kamen Affen, es flogen Aras, Tukane und bunte Vögel, die Brüllaffen waren gut zu hören, wie auch die unglaublichen Geräusche in der Nacht.
