We were looking for a chilled break which also met our dog’s needs. The cottage is in a spectacular location, facing the sea with the coastal path right at the bottom of the garden. You do need a car to access this property which sits at the end of a single track lane, adjacent to the A92. The cottage was spotlessly clean, homely and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the enclosed garden area. The coastal path walk to Johnshaven is very pretty and only takes around 30-40 minutes where there is a pub/restaurant serving great food, excellent cafe..”Hidden treasures” and a lovely gift shop, the Starfish Studio, as well as the harbour. Claire gave us some very useful advice about other dog friendly eating venues around the area including Charlton Farm and Picsnax at St Cyrus nature reserve/beach. St Cyrus beach is stunning and is a must visit. We plan to return soon ..so much to see!

One of our favourite properties we have ever stayed in from Air B and B. The lodge was very cosy with beautiful views particularly from the kitchen and sitting room, of the sea on one side and open fields on other. Great location also- just yards outside was the door was the choice of beautiful cliff walk or Coldingham Sands beach. Kitchen is also very well equipped, although due to the position of the lighting was a little dark when it trying to preparing food as you end blocking the light with your back. Bed and sofa very comfy! Only difficulty was that we struggled to work the shower in bedroom but we’re able to use the one over the bath in the main bathroom so wasn’t really a problem Would love to visit again and will be recommending to others!

An incredibly beautiful location with amazing views down Loch Rannoch. The house itself is lovely. The kitchen is big and well equipped, and the dining area spacious. The two big fridges and freezers meant that you can stock up properly and avoid the shops. The living room, with wood burning stove, is super cosy. All the bedrooms are well appointed (the beds are very comfortable), and having two en suite bathrooms is great. The hotel is a really easy walk and the Wild Brownie pub has lovely food and very friendly staff. The delivery from Tescos worked exceptionally well too. The location is spectacular with lovely walks and exquisite drives. The drive to Aberfeldy is particularly magnificent (although icy currently). We had the happiest time over New Year with plenty of space to chill and play games and cook as a family. We are all keen to return.

The cottage was absolutely lovely! The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding villages and tourist sites. My favourite part of our stay was relaxing with a coffee in the garden looking out to the sea.

Had a great time staying here. Really relaxing and close to local shops for anything you need food wise. Beautiful surrounding. Izzy was very helpful with anything we needed and was an amazing host. Couldn’t of asked for more

We absolutely loved Alex’s home…there was 6 of us travelling together and the house was the perfect size… the house was comfy, beautiful surroundings…friendly locals…beautiful beach just a 2 min walk away…very clean home in quiet neighbourhood

Stonehaven is absolutely beautiful, one of the more picturesque places we visited in Scotland. Mags place is right on the water, with places to eat and drink right next door and plenty of nice walks nearby. Would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic weekend at Paul's house. The accommodation was excellent, comfortable, well equipped and close to nearby attractions. Communication with Paul was excellent. we will recommend this Airbnb to friends and family and would be very happy to visit again.

Had a fantastic couple of nights at Williams caravan. Booked last minute for my partners birthday. We took our 1 year old son and our dog with us, we’ve had such good time! The caravan was very clean and very spacious too. William was great host and was very responsive. As for the area the is a nice little bar/restaurant so we were able to watch the football. We had a lovely walk down to Eyemouth to see the seals in the harbour and play on the beech. The coastal walk opposite the caravan has some breathtaking views and is perfect for dog walking. We’re already talking about going back next year for a longer stay.

Amazing caravan just a short walk from the beach and a local coop the entertainment complex is ideal for the kids the caravan was clean and tidy has that welcome feeling we cannot wait to visit again.

We had a great family stay and the space was perfect for the four of us. The caravan was incredibly well stocked with a lot of thoughtful amenities. The location was fantastic for exploring the beautiful East Lothian coast.

A great place to spend your vacation, or just a few days to relax and get away from the routine. Very attentive host and great to negotiate with.

A fantastic weekend break! The location is brilliant- just 2 mins from Spittal beach (which is absolutely beautiful); and the town of Berwick is only a 30 min walk away. The cottage has all you need for a weekend break - the owners have thought of everything. There are some lovely personal touches inside which makes it such a pleasant stay. We would love to return later in the year!

The house was beautiful, very spacious and extremely clean. The living area had lots of space with comfy sofas and footstools. There was a massive collection of dvds and books. The garden was peaceful, with garden furniture and a great view of the sea. We had 4 of us plus a baby which meant to bottom floor was ideal for the baby and mother and the rest of us were on the top floor. The view from the upstairs bedrooms were stunning. We walked the coast to the local villages and the village its self had great cafes and restaurants and an award winning chippy! We had the best stay and can’t wait to go back! Thank you to the host for letting us stay, your house is beautiful.

I had a wonderful stay here. Very peaceful and I was lucky enough to have a cabin with beautiful views of Bass Rock and Tantallon castle. The cabin itself was well equipped, cosy and really quite big! There are large supermarkets just a short drive/bus ride away for any food supplies. Seacliff beach is also just a short walk away and is gorgeous at sunrise! As a host, Lisa was fantastic and went out of her way to accomodate me. The restaurant recs were great and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast at drift and dinner at Herringbone. The cabin itself is on a bus route and buses are every hour or so but I preferred to have a car for exploring North Berwick and further afield. If you are looking to escape city life I can't recommend this place enough. I never tired of the view and was sad to leave. Thanks Lisa!

I stayed at this slice of heaven with some friends and it was the most charming and beautiful cottage. Plenty of space for us and in a beautiful location of St Abbs. Debs was so helpful and has decorated the cottage so beautifully you feel straight at home. It really is the most charming place and was great weekend gateway.

We had a wonderful stay in Elie. Ann’s house is in a great location with lots of lovely touches. We particularly enjoyed the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom! Great garden for dogs and family alike, nice and secure.

Malcolm & Carrie were very attentive throughout our stay, and had great communication from the start. The house was exactly as described, with plenty of bedding / towels abs amenities. Everything was clearly marked abs explained from from the heating to the bins. We even had a few complimentary treats which were a lovely thought. We would thoroughly recommend Malcolm and Carrie, and would hope to visit again! Thank you! 😀

The property was exactly like it was in the photos and a nice size and the outside is really nice, however, the road is adjacent to a main road which can be a bit noisy when in the bedroom but does not affect the living room. Although we hired a car you could easily walk the ten mins up the road and get a bus to town which roughly takes 25 mins. Also near the Bus stop is a big Aldi Supermarket so very convenient. There was some issues in operating the TV and Gary came around to show us how it worked so appreciated that. We were not able to use the Netflix or Prime we bought our own laptop so could down load our films in the evening. All in all I would recommend the property

A great stay! The open concept living is perfect for a group. Not too far from the city and easy to get to in an uber. One downfall is that the shower downstairs flooded the bathroom during each use due to the open concept of the shower area. However, over all we had a good experience!
