Nice house in a residential neighborhood. Just a short walk to a small park and a short drive to Vassar campus (though you could walk it). Easy to get settled and to get out and about in the area. It was just the 2 of us but home would work very well for families with children too. We had a comfortable stay.

This place was a breath of fresh air. I've noticed a trend on AirBNB of rentals that are obviously flipped investment properties with no character and no evidence of life: this place is the opposite! Charming, comfortable, with hosts who actually know the area and live in the area. This is a great family option when visiting the surrounding Hudson Valley towns. I hope I can get back here soon!

I had a wonderful stay! The property is in a beautiful, peaceful area—quiet and spacious, with plenty of room to walk around without ever needing to leave. The lake view was stunning, especially in the mornings, and I loved enjoying it from the cozy sunroom. The space was the perfect size for my two dogs and me. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches for pups—dog beds, treats, paw cleaning wipes, and extra waste bags were all provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were super comfortable—the bed and furniture made it easy to relax, and the overall vibe of the place was incredibly welcoming. Even my normally anxious dogs felt at ease almost immediately, which says a lot! Highly recommend for anyone traveling with dogs or just looking for a peaceful getaway.

My husband, pup and I had a great stay! We had such a wonderful time exploring the extensive hiking trails. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We really loved the waterfalls! Rick was quick to respond when I had any questions. We hope we can return for another getaway in the fall!

Alan and Dave were terrific hosts. We loved getting away and enjoyed the unique accommodations. The setting was private and out of the way but not too far from Storm King, the Dia Becon, etc. The RV was stocked with lots of creature comforts. Dave and Alan gave us lots of ideas for activities and great places to eat. They also went out of their way to make our stay tailored to what we wanted for our weekend. If you’re looking for an RV experience in the Hudson River Valley…this is a great spot!

I went for my boyfriends 25th birthday it was absolutely stunning from all of the art everywhere in the house and outside! We stayed in the sauna from when we got there till late at night it was an absolutely wonderful experience even just for a night!

We had a great time staying in this beautiful and comfortable space. It had everything we could hope for and was perfectly clean. The air felt and smelled fresh as we walked in the door. It was spacious and well appointed with extras like condiments, games and puzzles. There was a dog gate and potty bags in case we brought our pets. We didn’t bring ours this time but might in the future because we definitely want to stay here again. There were plenty of clean linens and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great. The coffee was delicious and there was tea too. We didn’t use the air fryer, but it was nice to have that and the gas stove in case we wanted to cook. Thank you for a great stay!

Private cottage, perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Cameron was a very thoughtful and responsive host. Instructions were clear and covered everything, even suggestions for before arrival (nearest grocery store etc). We really liked the character of the home and interior decor. We made good use of the kitchen, as well as the fireplace which really is perfect on cold nights. (The fireplace logs had even been set up in advance of our arrival, with ample instructions, another much appreciated gesture. Fwiw I too was curious about the story of Martha and Howard.) Both downstairs couch and the upstairs loft bed were very comfortable. The overall quiet of the surrounding area made for some very restful sleep.
