Really lovely get away close to Joburg. Trevor and George were great, accommodating hosts. We had a fabulous time, with many bonfires, lovely hikes ans kids playing in the pristine river. We will definitely be back.

Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist der viele Platz! Die Räume innen sind großzügig und draußen ist ein riesiger Garten. Auch am Pool war viel Platz und wir hatten ihn bei unserem Aufenthalt quasi für uns allein. Marina und Marie-May sind sehr lieb und haben sich super um uns gekümmert. Es gab frisches Brot und ein paar Lebensmittel und Früchte zum Empfang, was klasse war, weil Geschäfte etwas weiter weg sind. Man kann von dort aus gut den wilden Nord-Osten besuchen und sich nebenbei schön erholen, weil der Standort so ruhig ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wirklich ein traumhaftes Esemble mitten in einer ruhigen und schönen Landschaft. Die Kommunikation mit Lesley, sowie Ruth und William war total problemlos und sehr freundlich. Für ein paar Tage abschalten und die traumhafte Umgebung geniessen, genau der richtige Ort.

We loved Lucita house and we will be back ( many times), simply gorgeous. Everything was clean and tidy. Loved the house decors and the bed linen and towels were high quality. Thank you for having us!

Comfy, spacious farmhouse with beautiful surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. Never met the hosts but helpful and accommodating. Great price for what we received my only complaint is that i didn’t have the time to stay longer, will definitely be back with a bigger group

We had a great time at Olomaiana house! Fabulous sundowner spot, breathtaking horseback rides, fun games and room to run around for the kids, and a well equipped kitchen for prepping big family meals. Mary, Peter, and the team were very welcoming and helpful. We'd definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back!

My now husband and I came for our honeymoon here and I do not regret choosing it. It's private, on a farm, peacefully, quiet and the list goes on. Ninell is warm and friendly along with their adorable dogs that came to our door every morning for tummy scratches. Loved them to bits. Ninell went the extra mile by writing a congratulations card, some chocolates and a bottle of champagne to celebrate our marriage which was so sweet and a very nice touch. We had no complaints whatsoever. Again, thank you so much.

Definitely a great place to chill out and relax. Everything was ready for us. The cottage was spotless and there was ample firewood to keep us warm in the evenings. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all. Thanks Josie

Tamar and her partner Mark have created a lush paradise within their compound. They have a beautiful and bountiful garden that provided us with fresh fruits and vegetables, the accommodations are exactly as pictured in the photos, and the whole experience was delightful. I went on an all-day excursion/hike with their artist son Simon to look at rock art, which was fascinating. And we also enjoyed taking a peek at the operations of The Artist’s Press. This was a great place to rest for a few days after our long journey from the United States, and also after our 4-day excursion to Kruger. We highly recommend it. The only word of caution is that arriving at night can feel challenging, but Simon’s directions and google maps got us there without a hitch.

Beautiful spot near the lake within short walking distance to take a boat to Crescent Island. Ruth was really helpful and let us leave bags and check in a bit early. The fresh milk from the cows next door and the friendly dogs were a great bonus.

Very spacious, neat, clean and beautifully furnished. The host was very communicative before and after check in assisting with even the smallest details. The air conditioning works wonderfully and is an absolute necessity for the area. Whilst we didn’t need it, the back up power gave us peace of mind and is something we always look for when booking accommodation in SA. The Trellidor surrounding the patio is also a great feature. The pool was clean and well maintained and the water was the right temperature for swimming. The daily cleaning was very convenient as were the en suite bathrooms in every room.

Where do I even begin to review my stay with Tracey & Bernard. The location was so incredibly beautiful and private. However, I had the safety of a secure fence and Tracey & Bernard’s house behind the Airbnb. The home has everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and baking. And even AC and covered parking. The hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive with local spots to visit, a friendly chat, and delightful goodies on arrival. Not to mention that Bernard came and rescued me when my car broke down and got my daughter to her job the next morning since I couldn’t drive the car. They went so far above and beyond! You will not be disappointed with this booking. The location is ideal, the home is super clean, the grounds are lush and beautiful. You will be awoken to beautiful sunrises and birds chirping. And have delightful hosts. Truly everything an Airbnb should be and more! Thanks again Tracey & Bernard!

Beautiful stay, wish we could stay longer!

What an amazing stay at Seriti Lodge! The staff are incredible and we had great fun with Bheki who is one of the most knowledgeable guides we have ever met. He was so willing to fit in with our plans, and has a great sense of humor too. We saw all the big five within Mjejane, and stunning birds. Bheki also took the time to show us snakes, chameleons and spiders. The lodge is so luxurious and fully equipped with whatever you may need. Cannot recommend enough.

This home is the most comfortable and homely we have stayed in, in Dullstroom. It’s perfectly located in the estate, peaceful surrounds, tastefully decorated and all comforts are catered for. Thank you so much Tanya for your warmth and generosity.

Amazing!!! George the housekeeper on premises was on point and was always there. Great for a family get together of 14-15 people and built in such a way that everyone has their own space with beautiful views of the dam. House and surrounding gardens are immaculate.

Beautiful setting and stunning home! Viv was a responsive and generous host and Sergio and Evodia, the caretakers, are wonderful human beings that went the extra mile time and time again. Will be back

This place is amazing. There is staff that come in every day to clean and they even packed out wood for us to use in the fireplaces! Such a nice place to go for a quick getaway an hour out of Johannesburg!

I booked Genet House Holiday Home for my family, and they had an amazing stay! They loved the spacious and well-designed house, and the wildlife roaming nearby made it even more special!!! Andy was fantastic hosts, making them feel welcome. The check-in was seamless, and the location was perfect—peaceful yet close to Kruger. They had an unforgettable experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Baumhaus von Marco und Louisa. Das Baumhaus war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet. Da wir zuvor viel unterwegs waren entspannten wir tagsüber am Infinity Pool mit toller Aussicht und wunderschönem Garten in ruhiger Lage. Marco und Louisa sind tolle, hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die sich Zeit für ihre Gäste nehmen. Die Unterkunft ist definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!

Moon's property was absolutely flawless - we had a wonderful time disconnecting from the city and were able to enjoy the serenity of the Edge to the fullest. Beds are impossible to wake up from (SUPER comfy) and the open space makes you want to stay forever. If you're looking for a perfect short break with great staff who respect your privacy, are constantly available to help, light a fire or tell you about the surrounding area, this is the place for you.
