Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Wee Studio - North Berwick

The Wee Studio is a pretty cottage set within the walled garden of our home which is less than 10-minutes walking distance from North Berwick's beautiful beaches, vibrant High St and train station (Edinburgh 33min). The Wee Studio is light, airy and all on one level. It is comprised of a studio bedroom/living room, separate bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The Wee Studio is in a quiet and private location with off-street parking and its own patio area - you are welcome to share our garden.

Welcome to our gorgeous period house (Built in 1640 by a local ships captain from Dunbar), nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of East Linton. Full of traditional features and close to restaurants and cafes Edinburgh is 30 minutes away by train from East Linton and bus stops to North Berwick, Gullane, Dunbar are a short walk away. Coastal walks and attractions within a few minutes drive. Ideal for families, friends and business guests. Short distance to East Lothian Golf Courses.

The Puffin Burrow, North Berwick Beachside

The Puffin Burrow is a lovely self-contained apartment on the ground floor of this magnificent Georgian House. It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a twin and the other set up as king size but can be made into another twin on request. The modern bathroom is fully tiled with a bath and shower and there is another separate loo. The open plan modern kitchen and sitting room are complete with wood-burning stove and have views of the sea including the Bass Rock and Craigleith Island.

Welcome to our garden studio. Your own studio is set in our large garden with views to the Lammermuirs. Located within the historic village of Athelstanford you are at the founding site of Scotland's flag. Within a few miles, you have the market town of Haddington and to the North the beautiful seaside town of North Berwick. The nearby coastline has numerous world class golf courses, walking routes and amazing beaches. Drem or North Berwick railway stations are closest.

Ancient Castle above the River Tweed

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Yellowcraig Loft

My place is close to Yellowcraig Beach (one of the best beaches in Scotland), between Gullane and North Berwick. You’ll love my place because of the quiet, rural location, the comfy beds, the views and the high ceilings. My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Pets are subject to an additional £30 cleaning fee per pet per stay, payable on arrival. Pet fees are not included in the price you will have already paid.

The Historic Dalkeith Water Tower

The water tower is a bespoke home in an historic building sensitively converted by its architect owner. The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.

Abbeymill Farm Cottage (EL00062F)

Beautiful, quaint 16th century cottage, lovingly restored as a dedicated holiday cottage. Located in the heart of an old farm guests can enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful views and owners on site. The cottage has benefited from a complete refurb in 2020 and an enclosed private garden. We sit directly on the river bank and walkway to Haddington and East Linton and a bus link directly into Edinburgh in 45 mins. We are around 15mins drive to the coast and North Berwick.

The coach House

Beautifully renovated Coach House in our lovely East Lothian Garden, which was recently opened to the public as part of the East Lothian garden trail. Perfect for a cosy weekend break or as an ideal base to explore beautiful East Lothian, we are 10 minutes from the stunning beaches in Gullane, North Berwick and Tyninghame, 15 from Dunbar. The John Muir way is nearby for some fabulous cycling and walking and if you fancy a hill or two the Lammermuirs are nearby.
