We believe our guest cottage offers the perfect balance of natural and peaceful comfort; ideal for romantic escapes, family adventures, or digital detoxes.

Cabin at the No 1 The Chestnuts.

A small place to stay when travelling for work or visiting the area. Approximately 300 yards from Bentley Wood nature reserve. It’s a cosy cabin with very basic appliances/cups/bowls/dishes etc in the centre of a tiny village. There is a microwave, a 2 place countertop hob. A little fridge freezer. A bathroom with sink and shower. Towels provided I have had a couple poor reviews as there is nothing to do in the area, so ideal for a quiet stay!!! There is of course WiFi, tv, and board games.

The Old Stables

The old Stables is half of a newly converted cottage finished to a high standard situated within a 14 ac plot. There are two double bedrooms one with an en-suite bathroom and a separate shower wet room. The master bedroom has a king sized bed , the second bedroom a full double.Bed linen is 100% cotton with feather duvets. Synthetic available on request. There is a fully fitted kitchen with oven , hob and dishwasher and microwave. Outside there is a private garden area and plenty of parking.

Stride’s Barn

A newly restored and beautifully refurbished oak framed barn conversion bordering the New Forest National Park . With spectacular far reaching views Stride’s Barn is situated 9 miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury and 15 miles from Southampton . An ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs , restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World . Can be rented with additional listing ‘The Cowshed’ (sleeps 2) .

Down a little no through lane this self contained annexe to our house is on the Monarch's Way in a quiet, rural position just 3 miles from the cathedral city of Salisbury. The River Bourne runs close by. The ground floor annexe has a modern but peaceful bedroom with en-suite shower, separate kitchen/living area with double doors on to the patio & a sitting room with sofa bed. Parking for one or two cars. Convenient for anyone working at Porton Down & is 10 minutes from Salisbury by car.

Cosy comfortable cottage

No4, Railway Cottage was originally home to the local railway workers and now offers cosy comfortable accommodation, with lovely views across open fields and a wonderful private, sunny garden for lazy afternoons and al fresco dining. The garden is a particular attraction, providing various areas for relaxing, including a small fruit orchard, part of which is kept as a wildflower meadow. The cottage is primarily set up for 4 guests but possible to sleep 6 by using sofa-bed in dining room.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

The Old Dairy on the Edge of the New Forest

A comfortable self contained annex on the edge of the New Forest. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, horse riders, golfers or those who just want to relax. We have a number of golf courses close by. Popular seaside destinations within 45 min. As well as historic cities of Salisbury & Winchester Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World are 10 minutes away. A welcome pack is provided including coffee, tea & milk as well as some other little extras We only taking bookings up to 6 months in advance

Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, Butler's Rest is a stylishly renovated, quirky 19th Century cottage. Perfect for a romantic escape. In an unspoiled part of the New Forest, deer roam through the gardens, a short walk from three wonderful pubs and the open forest itself. It's a great setting from which to explore, although with a well equipped kitchen and cosy woodburner, you may not venture anywhere!
