I and my son feel very happy and comfortable living there, although the elevator doesn't work, it seems always under fixing. After all, the location is so convenient to everywhere, for example, SOM, Peabody Museum, and Hillhouse Ave. Almost all Yale shuttle lines stopped there. It is a happy time to eat while watching TV news in the living room. The scenery from top of the building is beautiful. We saw the sunrise and snowy town. That is amazing! The neighbors are very friendly. Guest in No. 34 helped us on carrying the luggages. He has a dog with three legs. What a nice and kind young man! In the basement, there is a gym and guests-room with sofas. G cafe closes after 5pm. My friends and I had a talk there which is nice. The Nica's is nearby as well which is very convenient. With Grocery line, we shop at Trade Joe's on weekend to save money. There is a big refrigerator to save food for one week. The door has an electronic lock which is very smart and easy to use. Good to stay!

Great listing, great host. Street below is pretty loud at night even with the windows closed.

Place was good, all was well, close to anything you’d need. The only issue was that I was sent checkout instructions at 11:15 when checkout was at 11:00.

Alicia was amazing to work with and extremely responsive! Weather caused changes to my travel plans which created plenty of other stress and she was fantastic to work with to sort out! Very clear and detailed instructions. No questions throughout my stay. She checked in to make sure everything was going well. Primary reason for booking was the proximity to Yale campus. It was perfect, 3 blocks away. Quiet building with helpful residents when asked questions. It is an older building. The unit has some great updates in the kitchen and bath that fit the space and make it more functional and inviting. Will definitely stay again!

This is our second stay at this location. The place is clean and comfortable, and in a great East Rock location. Look forward to another stay.

Very nice and clean place! Comfortable beds, with lots of natural light, and a nice gym for those that use it. Would definitely recommend! There are not a lot of extra towels and coffee cups, so you may need to do a bit of dishes/laundry depending the number of people and length of stay.

This was the perfect location as I needed to arrive at work extra early for a project. Ronnie’s place was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated detailed instructions, especially since I’m a visual person. The video instructions were extra helpful. Definitely would book here again.

Julie was a great host to a great apartment. The location is excellent—a 15-minute walk from Union Station, and a 3-minute walk to State Street Station. Check-in/check-out were a breeze. The kitchen equipment and plates/utensils are complete. And the housemates for your stay are great. Likely to book this AirBNB again the next time I'm in New Haven.

Absolutely Magical Stay! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views. The highlight, hands down, was the serene lake right in the backyard—waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee with that view felt like a dream. We especially loved the complimentary kayaks! Paddling around the lake during sunset was pure magic—calm waters, golden skies, and total tranquility. It felt like our own private retreat away from the world. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and super cozy. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a relaxing solo getaway, or a fun adventure with friends, this place is a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful place to stay! Very clean and pleasantly decorated! Our family felt completely at home. We had everything we needed for our three-day stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of amenities and even a great selection of games that our family enjoyed playing. We were close to a couple of beautiful beaches and a wonderful cozy local coffee shop. Miguel and Kaitlyn are great hosts! Very responsive, helpful and friendly! We would highly recommend their place and would definitely stay again!

Rudy’s place was just as described and Rudy checked in on us to make sure everything was as we needed (temperature of the house). He was very kind. The house was extremely clean and well-maintained. Perfect for our overnight stay.

My friends and I had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The house was even better than the pictures—spacious, homey, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. We cooked homemade meals every day, and the kitchen had all the utensils and tools we could ask for. The trees were turning gorgeous autumn colors, and the view from the porch was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled weekend!

Victoria was a gracious host - always quick to respond, flexible, and willing to assist. Entire process was easy from start to finish. In my opinion, the house was actually better in person than pictured in the listing. We were happily surprised with the cleanliness and comfort. The garage was a nice added value!

We had lots of fun out on the lake but also very much enjoyed the lake view from the house. The collection of pots/pans/kitchen stuff is far superior to the usual AirBNB- we had fun cooking every night. And dogs aren't just allowed here - they are welcome with biscuits, food and water dishes, and a dog bed. Linda was a great & very responsive host!

Juliette’s home was the perfect place for my family to spend a long holiday weekend together. The house is far more spacious than the pictures let on, and with two living rooms there is plenty of communal space plus private corners to retreat to when needed. Everything you could need is readily available and the community is quiet and the perfect setting for a trip out to The Hamptons. I have stayed at many rentals in the area and this was by far one of my favorite stays, I definitely recommend this home to anyone considering a visit.
