A meticulously presented and carefully considered property which is essentially a guest house to the side of our home. You will have your own entrance, Private bedroom, lounge and bathroom and the kitchen is for your use but we do have access to the kitchen area as we occasionally may need to pop in to access the washing machine, but you will barely see us! Gorgeous location and makes a wonderful place to stay. All the essentials are here for you and we are looking forward to welcoming you.

The Cabin Near Stansted Airport

Created to offer a luxurious stay, TheCabin is equipped with a Kingsize bed and luxury bathroom. In the kitchen there is a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, mini air fryer oven, fridge, induction hob, pots and pans. For breakfast you have eggs, fresh milk, bread, and a variety of cereals, jams and spreads. With beautiful armchairs and a bistro table to eat, work or just sit back to enjoy the smart TV with Netflix, BBC iPlayer, etc. Outside there is a small private garden too.

The Ridgeway Lodge close to Ivinghoe Beacon

The Lodge is a separate building from the main house and has a private patio for relaxing in the sunshine or stargazing at night. The double doors from the patio, lead you into the main, open plan kitchen / living room / dining area. There is a sofa bed with large TV with immediate access to Netflix, iPlayer etc, and super fast WiFi. There is a downstairs loo. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower. It has all the amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The Barn: Gorgeous alternative to a hotel room

The Barn is a self contained annex attached to our house, The Old Bakery, but with its own private access. We also have "The Cob" and "The Bakehouse", each suitable for 2 adults. Situated in an idyllic quiet position overlooking our garden and field beyond, in the historic village of Thriplow. A minutes walk and you reach the award winning community run gastro pub. Only 8 miles from Cambridge, so perfect for working in the city or surrounding area - a homely alternative to a hotel.

The Pump House is a modern, fully fitted building that is surrounded by open countryside. Enjoy this romantic hideaway with someone special. Whilst It is in a rural location, the cabin provides close access to London by both train (29-minutes to London St Pancras) and car (A1(M)) along with a short drive to the local market towns of Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City and the large town of Stevenage. This charming and spacious residence is located on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, 5 minutes from the pretty market town of Saffron Walden, 5 minutes from Audley End station and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport or Cambridge and Racing at Newmarket. This property is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to very steep duckstairs or for senior guests.

Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

There are numerous country walks just a few steps from the lodge, one of which leads to the River Stort (15min walk) from where you can carry on exploring miles of river walkways.
