The cottage was very clean and comfortable, perfect for two. Great value for money. Very convenient being on the ground floor as difficulty with stairs. The welcome pack of bread, butter, milk, tea and coffee was much appreciated The cottage is very near to pubs and fish & chip shops and a co-op supermarket. Highly recommend Chequers.

Wonderful property in such a fabulous location. A minutes walk from the beach was just brilliant. Lots of space for our entire party to spread out and enjoy Thoroughly reccomend

Ben and his property were really nice. Ben communicated well and made the check-in process easy. The property was as described and like the pictures. I will be working In the area again soon and will be booking again.

Fantastic apartment within easy walking distance to York city. Richard met us on our first day, and we were able to check in sooner too. Excellent off street secure private parking. Helen was a fantastic host and she has clearly put a lot of thought and hard work into designing this apartment. She was in touch to give clear instructions for checking in and checking out. The attention to detail was really impressive and the apartment had a real luxury feel - from designer kitchen gadgets, alexa and even the smell - Jo Malone 😍 The location of the apartment is excellent - its right beside the cathedral and just a few minutes walk from the city centre. I cannot recommend this place enough, you will not be disappointed. We will be back!

I had a delightful stay in Rebecca’s beautiful accommodation. The place was intelligently and thoughtfully laid out and designed, it felt safe and secure, with the added bonus of opening the security gate, turn left and there’s the mighty York Minster peering over its surrounds, making navigation easy. Could not recommend it any higher - it’s fabulous

Extremely pleased with apartment-exactly as shown and described on the web-site. Very tastefully furnished. So easy to walk into the city. Cannot fault in any way. Amanda has an apartment to be very proud of. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to York.

Had a great stay here, Jonathan was super responsive and friendly. The flat was easy to find and in a great location, we parked the car and walked everywhere! The flat was spotless and we felt right at home 😊

Excellent weekend stay, apartment was super clean and tidy. We loved the fact it was dog friendly! The apartment is easily accessible and situated above a row of shops, I expected a little noise however it was very peaceful and quiet the whole weekend. The large bed was a little too soft for us to sleep on (but that is personal preference). There were snacks & milk left out for us which was great. Would stay again!

The place was spotlessly clean. It was easy to find and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Jason was helpful throughout. I would go back.

The biggest plus with the property is the location and the private parking space. It is a short walk from the centre of York and all the attractions. The accommodation is clean and has everything that is required.

Perfect place for visiting the university. Well decorated, very clean. Sharon provided everything you could possibly need - including milk in the fridge. Communication was great and very friendly.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Lisa's place in York. We were there for the weekend and really enjoyed using it as a base for exploring bits of York. It's within a 5 minute walk of the York Castle Gardens which were absolutely beautiful. We'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay somewhere central in York.

Jodie did everything she could to ensure we had a great stay, which we did. The flat is as described and very central in Beverley. Having a private parking space is a real bonus in a town centre with no free parking nearby. Very comfortable accommodation and the shower was great with excellent water pressure! Great value for money for a solo or couple looking to explore the town for a few nights.

This beautiful apartment is just a short walk from the heart of York. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a lovely New Year at Victoria's house. we managed to squeeze our 2 cars on the private parking which was great - and they arnt small. The house is close to York city centre if you wish to walk 25 mins or get a taxi it's only about £6-8. Her home is spacious and homely, great to have tvs in most bedrooms to please everyone, especially the kids! Hot tub was fabulous 👌 a great hit at the end of the day. Thankyou again, definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rebecca's Airbnb! The space was lovely, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean, making our trip truly special. Rebecca was an exceptional host—kind, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. She graciously allowed us a late checkout, which made our departure so much more relaxed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend staying with her!

Wonderful apartment and Rebecca was fab. There wasn’t much to ask but when I did she responded within a few minutes. Stunning apartment with everything you could ask for including location and views of the York Minster. We will be back !

Jayden was the most helpful, wonderful host. The apartment was amazing. We asked a few days before we arrived if there was a clothes airer at the apartment and Jayden said there wasn’t but he could get one for us. When we arrived a brand new airer was there! Jayden was mega responsive and proactive when we asked anything. The apartment was just like the photos and all the listed items were there. We I’ll definitely be booking to stay again next time we are going to the area. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
