Wool Hut, is a beautiful, traditional Shepherd's Hut, located in the middle of nowhere but close to everywhere! Situated on our working farm on the edge of the village of Thixendale, the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, surrounded by stunning landscapes in a peaceful, rural setting. Visit the wonderful market town of Malton, or historic York as well as some beautiful country houses, or simply rest and relax. There is an abundance of food producers and restaurants in the locality for you to explore.

This delightful cottage provides very comfortable accommodation for those looking to explore both the East Coast and the rolling hills of the Wolds. Sleeping up to 5 adults in 3 bedrooms this cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, underfloor heating, log burner. Patio looking over the fields and a garden shed for bike storage. Bathroom upstairs and a downstairs loo. There is a pub serving food in the village and a farm shop and cafe at Sledmere house which is a 5 min walk away.

Hidden Hut, Shepherd Hut in East Yorkshire

‘Hidden Hut’ is located in the picturesque village of Bishop Burton, just 3 miles from Beverley. The hut is set on the edge of a wooded copse facing west (amazing sunsets) overlooking fields and the Yorkshire Wolds. You approach the hut via a private footpath. At the hut you will find beautiful warm decor with, fast wifi. tv, kitchen, ensuite shower/toilet and multi fuel stove. Outside in the private garden you will find a fire pit with gypsy pot also separate BBQ with deck chairs and hammocks.

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
