We had a lovely few days here while we were competing at Winterton Showground. The village is so quiet with great views across the Humber and the Trent on certain walks. Great pub in Winterton good food and a lot of it.

If you’re staying in York, England you cannot go wrong staying at this cozy home. Wonderful location, relaxing home, beautiful surroundings and wonderful guests. My highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed.

We're just back from a few days staying in Matthew's place in Hull: it's a wonderful house in an amazing location down by the river and in among the cafes, galleries, restaurants, and shops of Humber Street. There's so much to see and do around there, and the house itself was perfect: quiet, comfortable, and with everything we needed for our stay. Matthew was really welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home. We would definitely go back next time we're in the area.

The house was in an great location, town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Home was lovely and stocked up with things for tea/coffee and more. Hosts communication was clear and consistent and it was easy to check in. Parking was sorted by our hosts and they organised this in advance of our visit. We loved the small touches such as extra plugs in bedrooms and books or leaflets about York. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting York, and would look to stay here again!

Absolutely adore Gill and Andy’s place. It just feels like home. Perfect location for us to visit friends, the pub. Nice walk to the cliffs where the views are stunning. Beautiful and clean and the private garden for the dogs is perfect. We’ve already booked for New Year

This is a great house to stay for a get away to York. Just a 15 min walk away from the city walls. The city itself is beautiful and there is so much to see and we really enjoyed being to use the walls as a way in and out the city! The house has everything you need and is super comfy.

We had a great stay here while visiting friends who live in the area. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was really well equipped compared to other AirBnBs we have stayed in previously. It even had plenty of kids' plates/bowls, which we have never seen before. There were lots of lovely books at the house and our kids loved reading them all. The location is also great - it was incredibly easy to walk into the centre and there are also plenty of shopping options nearby. There was always somewhere to park. The host was great and very helpful. She messaged us a few times with recommendations and to check that we were happy with the house. She always responded quickly to my messages. We all slept well as the street was peaceful - if you are over 6 foot, the main bed may be a little short, but there is also a sofa bed that looked much longer. A lovely place to stay in York and we hope it will be free next time we visit!

We have absolutely loved Hedgehog cottage from the minute we arrived. So quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean and nothing has gone unthought of. Dog blankets for the pooch, shower gels for the humans and even softener/ wash etc. we have extended our stay even longer as this is the perfect spot for us! The Sunday dinner at bricklayers is to die for and the fish and chips! We have yet to try pie night though!! Just the nicest hosts and always on hand to answer questions. Really comfy beds and loads of clean bedding etc in cupboard! 13/10

It was " home from home", even buckets and spades provided. Exceptionally clean and lovely space. Communication with Kate was excellent. We will definitely go again as its very conveniently located for Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington. Thank you so much Kate.

We had a lovely stay at Vanessa's caravan. Lovely welcome note and basket of treats to welcome us - the kids were so excited! The bedding was warm and beds were comfortable. Vanessa was really helpful and responsive to messages. She even kindly posted something we had left behind back to our home city. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Had a really lovely eater wknd. The lodge was spacious light and airy, the decor was really nice, and very clean. We had a very comfortable peaceful stay. The lodge was only a short walk to the main complex, & was really easy to access all the entertainment without having to book 1st which we found alot easier with the kids

Great location. Would have been nice to have been informed that the pool, bar and restaurant have been closed since May due to a fire

Thank you for a great stay! Immaculately clean, with fresh bedding and towels. Bathrooms spotless and live that there are two bathrooms. Water pressure fabulous with lovely hot shower. Kitchen well equipped with utensils, pans, tea towels, cleaning products etc. gas cooker and everything in great working order. Heaters excellent and whole place cosy even though temp dropped at dusk. Would absolutely recommend and we’ll be back. Thanks for a great stay 😊

A very pleasant stay, right on the coastline and so close to lots of beautiful places to visit.

This is Not Here is a gorgeous house, the space is a lovely size and the decor is beautiful. Simon and Lynne made us very welcome and are very attentive and couldnt help anymore, id recommend to anyone and will definitely be looking at booking again. We had been to celebrate a joined birthday and even had a birthday card each from the host that was a lovely touch. Thankyou so much. Simon and Lynne.

Francis was such a lovely host. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything for our stay. The accommodation was very clean, had all the facilities and was ideally located for our stay. Francis left us clear instructions to check in/out and during our stay and his communication was great. Would highly recommend a stay at Francis's place and cannot thank you enough for our lovely stay!

Great stay at the Piggery. Peaceful location with a local pub / restaurant just around the corner. Accommodation was spotless and well maintained. Would certainly recommend.
