Perfect place to escape to for a peaceful wooded retreat! Excellent and communicative hosts along with a clean space. The place was fully stocked with plenty for kids to do especially the clean hot tub. A great destination!

Sharyn’s house is very beautiful. A great place to get away and just relax. The house was set up perfect to bring the kids, as well as friends/family. All ages had something to do in this house. Sharyn was super responsive and always willing to help if we ever needed. Amazing place and we are very glad we went to this house. Thank you again!

Loved the hot tub, loved the record player, all in all was a very fun weekend and if I ever get the chance to come back I will!

As in other reviews be prepared for sulfur water. The sulfur smell is horid. However, i believe the owner has done everything he can to try to elevate it. Filters work well but they need constant flow or they can be bad instead of good. I developed rash from it. I read reviews and knew about it well in advance. The place is very comfortable and quiet location. If you listen carefully you can hear the click clock of amish on the roads. The electric heaters heat the property astonishingly well. This week we had nearly 30 inches of snow. We were sick of the snow for sure. Plenty of grocery stores and shopping nearby. Restaurants as well. Beds feel hard at first but slept like baby. No stains on sheets etc as others pointed out. Over all enjoyed our stay. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE TO SULFUR NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UNTIL A PERMANENT SOLUTION IS FOUND FOR THE ISSUE. We will probably rebook in 25.

Adorable cabin in a tranquil setting. Cabin was decorated very nice. Cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in! Loved the coffee bar with all the extras. Games were great for the kids. It was a lovely place to stay!

Cynthia's home provided amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Our family vacation was memorable because of all the spaces indoors and outdoors that enabled us to appreciate the lake and natural surroundings. Cynthia was responsive to all of the little questions that popped up and we got to take advantage of so many restaurants and fun activities on Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua. Our family of ten would stay again in a heartbeat!

This place is a dream! The cabin was better than described. We wanted for nothing! Checking in was seamless. We enjoyed lazy days of reading and fishing and hanging out with our 7 month old and our pup. Winnie left us fully stocked—even firewood for the wood burning stove which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was more than enough to keep us super toasty during our stay. The river and surrounding area was perfect for hiking (plan to use a baby carrier rather than a stroller). The cabin is cozy and spacious too. The kitchen was well stocked and was perfect for cooking a big pot of chili to feast on. There were ample art supplies, books, and games. We sincerely hope that Winnie will have us back again as we can see this cabin becoming a family favorite.

Wonderful place with an excellent host! An unmatched value for sure.👍🏻👍🏻 It is a distance to a full-fledged grocery or beverage store so I would suggest to arrive with special necessities that you may require.

We couldn’t have planned a better weekend getaway. The grounds were beautiful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Leigh and Matt are friendly and accommodating hosts who wanted us to have the best experience they could offer and they met every expectation we could have imagined. Place was very cool with one heck of a view from the kitchen window. We are simple people and easy to please so we loved it. Would go back there for sure.

We showed up and the place was clean and smelled good. Molly even left us home baked cookies which I gobbled up immediately. The beds are super comfortable and the river being right next to the cabin, I slept with the windows open and slept amazingly!

The cabin was on the river and had a very nice yard that sloped right down to the water. It was November and we did fish a little but were unlucky. I would definitely rent this in the summer just to play in the water. There was fire wood and a great fire pit. The deck and furniture were excellent. The cabin was spotless and had amenities that I did not expect--dish soap, kitchen towels, washer, dryer. etc. The only possible negative comment is that the sitting area was combined with the kitchen so the TVs were located in the bedrooms. This would have been fine had it been more than my husband and I. We usually travel with family and never turn on a TV. The host, Erwin, communicated well and made sure we could contact him at any time with any questions. I would rent again from him with confidence.

Perfect for any fisherman looking to get away for a few days. Very close to the Lake. Has all the basic amenities that you need.

We liked everything very much, we stayed with the children, the children were delighted with the second floor, amazing nature, the pond, we liked everything very much, the owner provided coals for the barbecue, coffee, candles for lighting, everything was at the highest level

Perfect for the long weekend and the location is close to the places we wanted to be: Midway State Park, Bemus Point, the lake etc. We enjoyed using the grill. Also appreciate the extra things they provided like air mattress, firewood, bug spray etc. It was a great first cabin stay experience for our toddler!

What an incredible cabin. The location, property and amenities were amazing. We loved our stay. We enjoyed the quiet and celestial big night sky. We truly felt one with nature. We already decided that we will be back this summer if it’s available so we can enjoy the water activities. Neina was a wonderful host and kept in touch to make sure that had everything that we needed. Great cabin and amazing host. Can’t wait to go back.

what an awesome view going down the driveway to the cabin. Quiet,cozy and relaxing. Fishing was great. Small mouth bass and bluegill was what I was catching. We seen wild turkeys and deer and lots of different birds. Host was great in keeping in touch with us and the cabin was stocked up very well. We will definitely be going back! Thanks appreciate it! The Paramore's.

Cathy and Dans place was just as stated. It rained all weekend but we still enjoyed the beauty and peace of the cabin and river view. She left us wine and chocolate and muffins what a thoughtful experience. We also mistakenly forgot toiletries and Cathy had much of what we needed and anything else we were able to get from Walmart which was just a short drive away. We felt like family would 100% recommend and stay again.

Absolutely beautiful and wonderful! This is our 2nd consecutive year visiting the Lakefront Log Cabin during February. It's a beautiful location that is friendly for your canine friends! Plenty of room and tons of amenities. It's definitely a quick and timely getaway from the doldrums of winter in NE Ohio! Can't wait to visit again next year.

What a fantastic stay! The views are incredible with more than enough space for the kids to run around the property. Robin was very responsive in answering any questions we had and heading into town is a beautiful drive.

Adorable and cozy cabin tucked into the woods, everything about our stay was wonderful! Everything was very clean and so nice! Beautiful views and serene atmosphere, there was no road or city noise, which, with me being from a big city, was very nice! We came to town to visit family and it was perfect for our needs as our family lives just up the road. Totally recommend and will most definitely stay again! ❤️
