Beautiful home, I loved how quiet and peaceful it was.

Seth’s cabin was wonderful. My young kids felt right at home. We loved listening to the seals out on the rocks in the morning. We used the cabin as our jumping off spot for day hikes in the redwoods. We also loved the little town of Trinidad. It’s a beautiful house, and I’d definitely stay there again.

Erik was lovely to work with and was great about checking in on us and sending us info, local recommendations, etc ahead of time. Had a great stay. House was perfect for our family of 4.

This is our 2nd visit to Lala’s house and we were so impressed. Lala has thought of everything, from the well stocked kitchen to the raincoats and cooler for picnics, we had everything needed to make my family’s stay comfortable. It is conveniently located just 30 minutes from the redwoods which is my favorite place on earth ❤️ Lala communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure all our needs were met. We will definitely be staying at this home again, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

it was a very homey and inviting place to stay. it was well located and easy for trips both north and south to see the Redwoods. There were many suggestions for amazing restaurants and activities. I particular we really enjoyed the 511, Brick and Fire Bistro, and SeaGrill Steve has done a great job to keep this place a great retreat location.

Amber was very nice, responsive, accommodating to our needs. The house is beautiful and there were lots of thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfortable for us and we all had great sleep. The area is peaceful. Definitely recommend!

Wow! Denise was dedicated to being an attentive host, which made our stay so easy and comfortable. Denise offered suggestions to make our stay more than what we expected. The house was clean and cozy and had all the amenities that we needed. Perfect location in Ferndale! We’d love to come back and stay at Denise’s rental, maybe try out a different season - there’s so much to explore!!

We had an amazing stay! The house had everything we could possibly need, and Jason provided clear directions and tons of local recommendations. The location was great and walkable to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Daniela was such an incredible host. She found that we had left a few items behind by mistake and was so conscientious to message me so we could meet up and she brought them to us! She was absolutely lovely communicating with us, incredible to meet her in person, and we are so happy and look forward to staying there again. Our daughter was previewing Cal Poly Humboldt and I hope she attends beginning this fall, so we can return! The unit was so peaceful and it felt as though you had the forest to yourself just off your patio. 4 young doe greeted us in the morning. It was incredible!

Excellent location and great value, thoughtful and professional hosts, really enjoyed and appreciated staying here. Highly recommend to any business or vacationing travelers with a canine companion!

The house was AMAZING! The kitchen is stocked with everything needed once you've bought your groceries! The rooms were spacious and the grounds were well kept. A very beautiful home and we felt extremely comfortable staying there! Shelter Cove is a quiet beach town with lots of natural beauty, walking trails, and you've got to visit Black Sand Beach while there! Marc's house overlooks the Cove; we spent every evening watching the sun set over the ocean. What a peaceful place to be!!! On the only road in and out (Shelter Cove Rd) there is a stand of old growth Redwoods and a small parking area off the road where you can hike. A must see area while there. One thing to know is the road has many curves and some are really tight. You definitely want to plan your trip to the grocery store and get everything you need at one time - it takes about 50 minutes to the closest one in Redway. There is a small shop near the house but the prices are significantly higher there.

Katie was so knowledgeable on the area, and helped inform us on the area like no other local could! When we first walked into the house the smell of freshly baked bread filled the room. She made us bread to eat! I ate that bread every day I was there. Delicious. The kitchen was clean and had plenty of the amenities/tools a kitchen should have. We cooked every day rather than going out because we enjoyed cooking there so much! The rooms are tidy and comfy. The washer and dryer were a plus! Having the outside patio area was peaceful and nice to have. So close to cal poly and so close to downtown, yet with plenty of privacy. I recommend Katie’s place wholeheartedly!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days while we hiked in the redwood forest. It was a clean and modern spot that was near local restaurants, stores, and gas before we set off on our day's adventure!

This place is exactly how it looks in photos. It’s cozy and has all the things you need for a stopover stay. We stayed here on our way to Yosemite and would recommend it!

First time visit. Easy to find and very quiet and peaceful. Great location. We will return to this lovely retreat. Having the river and the ocean in the background was great. We loved Clam Beach (close by). Just mark your ingress spot so you know where to egress! Looking forward to “next time”.

My family and I loved the green cabin, even in the rain! We visited, played board games and watched movies provided. The layout of property is perfect. Lots of comfy beds, generous seating on couch and table. We are already planning our next stay!

absolutely amazing place to stay. I have so much to say. the decor is cozy and welcoming. they put so much thought into all the details. the whole place smelled and felt like a spa while I was there! Laura is just one of those people that is meant to host. she is so friendly, so responsive and her food is good too! the whole place is beautiful inside and out. I had a great trip and would love to come back in the future. I have already shared the place to a few of my friends and clients and they look forward to booking.

The Wildflower Cabin was a dream in the woods. We were surrounded by peaceful nature, just what we were hoping for. The cabin was clean and full of amenities as listed. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with essentials. The hot tub and the fire pit were great. Our kids enjoyed exploring the grounds. Even though the cabin is in the woods, it is just a short drive to town which was convenient for grocery needs. Our hosts were very communicative and provided recommendations which helped us explore Eureka and neighboring places. They responded to any questions we had very quickly. We would love to come back to the Wildflower Cabin in the future, as well as recommend the place to our friends and family.

We loved staying here when we visited Redwoods National Park. The very private hot tub in dense woods with a nice view of the night sky was a true delight after a hard day of hiking. DeVon was very helpful when we ran into a few hiccups over a holiday weekend!

This place was absolutely stunning. This was my first time visiting Humboldt after graduating in 2014. The cottage was perfectly put in the peaceful forest and had amazing amenities. The private sauna and hot tub were absolutely incredible. Would highly recommend staying at the cottage!!!
