The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad bij De Zwevende Hemel in Epe. Het huisje is comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien, midden op een boerderij met boerderijdieren Een prachtige, rustige plek waar je helemaal tot rust komt. De gastvrije host zorgtn voor een warm welkom. Zeker een aanrader!

Wir waren zu zweit für 2 Nächte dort. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fahrräder waren eine tolle Möglichkeit um eine gemütliche abendliche Runde zu fahren oder auch in nichtmal 20 Minuten etwas einkaufen zu können. Mit unserem Auto sind wir in knapp 1h nach Zandvoort ans Meer gefahren. Es war unglaublich entspannend und die Gegend ist sehr schön.

Fantastisch verblijf in Cottage Paulus Wat een geweldige ervaring! Het boshuisje ‘Paulus’ is sfeervol ingericht en ligt op een prachtige, rustige plek midden in de natuur. Precies wat we nodig hadden om even helemaal op te laden. We waren er met onze twee honden, en ook zij hadden de tijd van hun leven. De ruime, volledig omheinde tuin was perfect – veilig én groot genoeg voor eindeloos snuffelen en rondscharrelen. Fareen, de gastvrouw, is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Vanaf het eerste contact voelde alles vertrouwd en relaxed. Ze reageerde snel op vragen en gaf ons een heel welkom gevoel. Een aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van rust, natuur en een diervriendelijke plek met karakter. Wij komen zeker terug!

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

We stayed at Trevor’s for several months. During our stay Trevor was an excellent host, answering our questions quickly. The house was well equipped with all the essentials. The location is perfect, walking distance to the train station and a beautiful view of the canal.

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Alles bestens. Ein wunderschönes kleines Häuschen, super sauber, in einem traumhaften Garten. Fred und Anita waren gut erreichbar und immer freundlich. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und das Frühstück immer pünktlich, frisch und mit köstlichem frisch gepressten Saft. Die Treppe zum Schlafzimmer ist sehr eng und steil, für Menschen mit körperlichen Einschränkungen oder kleinere Kinder eher nicht geeignet.

Our second stay here, it’s a brilliant find, far bigger than it looks in photos! Very large bed, great kitchen, deep seats on sofa, fab location, lovely place to stay, highly recommend!!

We hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad en het was van alle gemakken voorzien. Perfecte ligging en alles op loopafstand zodat je zo op het terras kunt zitten of even kunt shoppen. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Diwa en gaf een goede rondleiding en wat tips. Als er vragen waren werd er snel en duidelijk gereageerd. Een echte aanrader en komen graag nog eens terug! Dit was de tweede keer dat we bij Ciska in Otterlo verbleven. De vorige keer was het winter, nu waren we er in de lente, met heerlijk weer! Wat fijn was het om de vogeltjes te zien en horen, in het zonnetje te kunnen zitten buiten en zo de hei op te kunnen stappen. De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, de bedden slapen heerlijk en het huis is knus en gezellig. Kortom, het was weer fantastisch!

Casa di campagna accogliente e pulita, con vista su un mulino a pochi passi. Ampio soggiorno, cucina nuova. Apprezzata la presenza di caffè, olio, sale, pepe, bagnoschiuma, ecc. I maiali e il cane sono molto socievoli, anche con i bambini, per i quali sono presenti anche altalena, dondolo, tappeti elastici. Esther e Erik si sono mostrati molto gentili, disponibili e riservati. Soggiorno rilassante e super consigliato!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft rundum wohl gefühlt. Vor allem der tolle Garten ist ein Traum für jeden Hundebesitzer und für Naturverbundene. Die Vermieter sind immer ansprechbar und nicht aufdringlich. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

B&B de Heidehoeve was een heerlijke plek om een lang weekend te verblijven. Helaas werd ons hele gezin ziek (griep) en hebben we er minder van kunnen genieten dan we hoopten. Het is echt een geweldige plek! Paarden, schaapjes, konijnen, een lekkere speeltuin voor de kids. We komen heel graag nog eens terug.

Heel gezellig en knus huisje. Heel mooi ingericht en aardige host! Alles wat je nodig had, was aanwezig!

Our stay at Marcels cottage was brilliant! He welcomed us upon arrival, introduced us to his family, showed us around the cottage, explained how to unlock the electric gates and swimming pool cover. The cottage is within the grounds of Marcels house but provided enough privacy for both of us. Marcel is a very easy going person, friendly and accommodating. He was always there when we needed him but never impinged upon our privacy. We were on a cycling holiday on our own road bikes and not once did we fear our bikes would be stolen from the garden. Vicky my wife is a keen swimmer and there was never a time when it was a problem for her to use the pool. We loved the accommodation and the atmosphere Marcel provided. Of all the Airbnb we have stayed at this is by far the best. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come back 😀

Mijn vriendin en ik hadden een detox weekend van onze telefoons. Rose haar huisje was perfect hiervoor! Mooie omgeving en een fijne accommodatie:)

Super week-end chez Magdalena. Bonne communication avant notre arrivée, arrivée et accueil parfaits. Nous avons rencontré Magdalena plus tard dans la soirée, une personne charmante qui fait tout pour que ses visiteurs passent un bon moment. Le logement est très confortable, au calme dans un environnement exceptionnel entre terre et mer. Un énorme merci à Magdalena et son mari pour leur hospitalité extraordinaire.
