Very amazing. All my family were impressed with the house, location, size, amenities, services, security. It is a tropical climate, so yes the area is humid, but the A/C works great inside the home. We had everything we needed to make breakfast there so we can save some money. It is very safe, the location and the house. When we arrived, we were greeted by security. We traveled every day to a new part of El Salvador: San Salvador Historic Center, San Vicente, Olocuilta, Planes de Renderos, Panchimalco, Ciudad Arce, Apaneca, Ruta de las Flores, Ahuachapán & Santa Ana, Ilopango & El Tunco. We regularly arrived after midnight and never felt unsafe or unwelcomed. There was an issue w/ wifi not having service, but Claudia made sure a technician came as soon as possible to repair. The housekeeper that greeted us and met us to pick up the keys was very professional, kind, and wonderful to have a conversation with. I definitely recommend this house for your stay in El Salvador.

This is truly a relaxing, zen place. Carlos was attentive and responsive the entire time—from check-in to check-out. Marta and Hugo, who work on the premises, were extremely helpful and attentive during our stay. They’re great! The views are amazing, and if you have the opportunity to rent a jet ski and explore the lake, I highly recommend it. Hope to be back soon.

The little house is very small but cozy. The gardens and the pool give it a special charm and make the stay very peaceful and pleasant. Perfect for disconnecting and relaxing.

We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

This is our second time staying at Monica's home. We love the house, bedrooms, dock, pool, living room etc. Carmen and Manuel are extremely helpful and always willing to help. They are truly the best! ❤️ We stayed 2 nights this time around and enjoyed every minute. We swam in the pool, rented jet skies and did a little fishing! This home has everything you need(accept food -so bring your own) 🤪 ... The bedrooms are comfortable, AC , bathrooms are excellent 👍 The kitchen/dining area has beautiful views to the lake, Crater and mountains! thank you again for opening your beautiful home to our family. La casa de playa de Cristina es un lugar bellísimo para pasar unos días muy relajado en contacto con el mar y la naturaleza muy cómodo y ambientes agradables y de buen gusto mejor que en las fotos Muy recomendado

The grounds of this house are outstanding with several outdoor spaces to hang out and direct access to the lake via a dock. The caretakers live on the property and were unobtrusive (not sure why that other guest was complaining in the review) in fact he took us out on a boat around the island and showed us where the hot water comes out of a thermal vent from the volcano and forms a natural hot tub! He also set us up with a jet ski and tubes for swimming. The house is 15 min down a dirt road and a bit challenging to find in the dark, but worth it for the rural setting. Saw lots of birds, iguanas and a GIANT toad. Three bedrooms with their own bathrooms were very comfortable.

It was a great experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beach. Chepe and his family where attentive to our needs. Every time we asked them for help they promptly responded to our needs. Walter, the owner was very responsive, always making sure that our needs where being fulfilled. He was always asking us about our stay, if we were enjoying our stay. For me and my family I would describe it a a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The beach was so beautiful, exactly as Walter’s description. It was more like we were swimming in a big lagoon with no waves and my mother and mother in law who are both 83 years old had a great time. My only two suggestions would be: 1. Add TV to the house. But maybe Walter’s idea is that everyone that comes to his house disconnects from from the outer world. 2. A swimming pool will be a great addition to be able to use it at anytime, specially during high tides and at night.

Very nice place. Absolutely loved the outdoor space, dock and hammock area. Very relaxing. House is very nice, clean. Excellent hosts too. Will definitely recommend.

Disfrutamos la estadía en el lugar, volveremos sin duda

Visitamos el lugar en vacaciones, con mi familia, muy agradable y cómodo, regresaría nuevamente. El lugar permite pasar una bonita tarde frente al lago, cuenta con un barcito, hamacas y sillas, práctico para convivir y hacer actividades acuáticas. Los espacios son adecuados y amplios está bien equipado. El encargado muy amable y siempre estuvo atento a los requerimientos.

The place is beautiful with amazing views and most importantly peaceful. The people there are extremely kind and dedicated to make the guest feel right at home. There were a few difficulties with some home appliances, but overall it was a wonderful experience. Hopefully it will be available for next year to go back.
