Could not recommend this place more, and definitely plan to come back and visit ❤️ Susie and Doug are just the sweetest people, very accommodating and made us feel right at home. My best friend and her hubby are moving to Texas and I’m helping them move and staying here was such a blessing in so many ways. The ranch is absolutely beautiful and the bunkhouse is decorated so cute, it makes you feel right at home. 😊 Susie even brought us fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. Definitely loved staying here, if you’re looking for a warm hug from Texas, Susie and Doug will take good care of you. ❤️ Ps. If you are an animal lover, we fell in love with their ranch dog Bella she greeted us every morning which was too sweet! 🥹

Our 4th year here, and as always, it was perfect! Location is terrific for being close to Scarborough Faire, the guesthouse is just the right size for our family of 3 and has everything we need. We always love feeding the ponies on our last morning, too. Kevin is a very communicative and responsive host, A+!

From the moment I booked my stay, the communication with my host felt effortless and welcoming. They provided clear and concise instructions for check-in, which made finding the property a breeze. As I pulled into the driveway, I was immediately struck by the charming aesthetics of the home. Entering the property was smooth as the host had thoughtfully gave me instructions on the pin code for the door, as well as leaving the gate open and my path well lit. I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The living space was tastefully decorated with soft lighting and comfortable furnishings, inviting me to relax. It was clear that my host had put a lot of thought into ensuring a seamless experience, I appreciate the little touches like the welcome note and guide to local favorites that made my arrival feel warm and personal. This Airbnb truly felt like a home away from home, where the ease of access and the host’s hospitality set the perfect tone for my stay.

Perfect house for our family get-together! The house was spacious, comfortable and EXTREMELY CLEAN (very important to me), with lots of room for 10 of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well-stocked with plenty of extra linens, comforters, pillows, towels. The kitchen was also really well-stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils/pots/pans for our party of 10 to use. The kitchen table was large enough for us all to eat around and play games. Everyone LOVED this property, and we immediately felt at home in it. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time at Shannon's place! It was a great home base for us to come back to and relax at after a long day walking around Scarborough fair. An extra nice thing was having the ability to access streaming services to watch a movie and some baseball! Shannon was very clear with her instructions which helped us keep everything where it needed to be at the end of the visit. Overall, it was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Janis was incredibly sweet and made us feel right at home. The place was spotless and well-maintained, and we loved the quiet neighborhood. We are particularly grateful that Janis accommodated our late arrival and was so responsive to all our communications. We really appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail—Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and comfortable spot. Five stars all the way!

The house was very cute and the beds were comfortable. Great place to stay overnight for the Renaissance festival.
