I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities, made it feel like a home away from home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. This was the 4th time that we stayed at "The Weekender". We absolutely adore this place. Such charm and so close to everything. It's a nice walk over the bridge and into town where you can visit the quant shops and enjoy the many restaurants. We look forward to taking a train ride through the mountains at our next stay. The hosts (Steve and Chris) are the sweetest and very personable. We enjoyed a drink together and learned a lot about the history of building and the neighborhood. A definite "Must Stay". Right in the heart of this amazing "alpine" village, the property was clean and well-provisioned. The immaculate garage was an added bonus (parking during the busy season in Jim Thorpe is famously difficult), welcome, and unexpected at the price. The views from the front and rear windows are magical. Everything needed was included, and the location was perfect for shops, restaurants, and the special charms like the vintage railroad and the Asa Packer house museum. The host was friendly and provided clear instructions to make entry and use of the property effortless. And it feels like a home! I can strongly recommend the property for single travellers, families, or small groups of friends. Well done!

Great place to stay at while visiting Jim Thorpe, PA. Less than a mile from downtown and train station via walk if you don't mind BIG hill coming back. place has a lot of charm and live the personal touch of the place to honor the memory of her daughter. Definitely place I'll book again when I cone back to Jim Thorpe, PA the hidden gem of PA.

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place. She was helpful and accommodating, and she was responsive with messages and questions. Met us at the door to help get us checked in then gave us a quick tour. Her place was clean and quiet and walkable to many places in town. We would stay here again!

Loved the place! Just like the pictures. Super responsive host. Even shoveled the deck and stairs for us after a snow storm. Definitely recommend staying here!

Brian and Kylie were responsive and gracious hosts! We were able to check in early which helped to get settled before exploring town. Their BnB was very comfortable and as described. It was quiet despite being on a main road with the main bedroom in the back of the home. Kitchen was nicely updated with all the basic amenities provided. Towels and bed linens were fresh and the home was very clean. The little chocolates provided upon arrival were a nice touch!! We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the location to others. We also will certainly look into booking Brian and Kylie’s home again when we are back in Jim Thorpe!!

Laura was very helpful with suggestions and links to fun things to do. She also helped me surprise my wife with flowers for Valentine’s Day by working with a local florist on delivery options.

Chelseas place was very clean, neat, and organized. I liked the decor and it felt very private to me. The bed was very comfortable. She has created a lovely oasis in the heart of Moosic, with a cafe and yoga right downstairs below the airbnb. We got food at the cafe both days, which was fantastic. I highly recommend the smoothies, wraps and avocado toast with macadamia nuts. We browsed the lovely crystal/gift shop as well. It was really nice just being able to go downstairs to grab something healthy to eat. You definitely don't find that everywhere :)
