We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

Ronda was fabulous to work with! Her friendly manner and quick responses made our weekend plans run perfectly smooth. The home was perfectly cozy and welcoming- exactly what our book club was looking for!

We had a great week here for the disc golf world championships. It was a great location - very close to the parks and easy to get everywhere. The host was very friendly and responsive and the place was clean and nice. If we are ever in Emporia again, we would definitely stay here 😀

Great spot in North Lawrence right off the highway! The massage chair is awesome. the kitchen is fully functional. Definitely recommend.

This was a great place to stay and so accurate to the description. We really enjoyed the space and the kitchen for family gathering to eat and play cards together which was absolutely perfect and accomplished our intentions. The hosts were super friendly and communicative.

This is a great location, close but not too close to downtown or campus. Very convenient yet very peaceful, even during recess at the school next door. The house has plenty of space, a useful kitchen, and charm of an old Lawrence home. This is my hometown and I'd gladly rent this place again.

Plenty of room, very clean, and quick responses from hosts. Quirks that you’d expect from an old house like squeaky stairs, but it's been updated very nicely. Two large kitchens (first floor & basement apartment) and large dining table are great for a large group.

Our family of 6 visited this very clean and comfortable home during a college visit. Everything was spotless and coffee was provided. Loved the location and a little bit of history with the home mixed in. Thank you, Joni!

Perfect place to stay.

Laura was a great host! A few friends and I came to Emporia for a disc golf weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The property was within short driving distance to some of the best disc golf in Kansas. And we really enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit in the evening after a long day of disc. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome secluded house, host was very responsive and helpful if anything was needed during our stay, highly recommended. Our group had come from tennessee to waterfowl hunt awesome place to stay felt like we were way out in the country but it's actually very close to restaurants and other accommodations.

We had a lovely stay. It's spacious, quiet, beautiful views, comfortable, and close enough to Lawrence for easy access.

Nice appliances. Older home, but well kept. One door was too low, my son - in - law kept hitting his head.

Judy was a great host! Her place had everything you would need for your stay. The neighborhood was quiet, the beds were comfortable. It was nice having the garage for our bikes and easy access to gravel roads via Logan Street just around the corner. I would definitely stay again!

Marilee was a great host and worked diligently to get the heat repaired prior to our arrival. She was communicative, friendly and conscientious and took extra measures to keep me abreast of their repairs in anticipation of our arrival. We appreciated all her efforts. We enjoyed the funky decor and the functionality of the space. Also was great to have our two very well behaved golden doodles accommodated on our trip across the state.
