A Perfect Retreat in the Heart of the City We had a wonderful 2-day family vacation at Nandani’s place. The cottage feels like a dream straight out of the 1900s—cozy yet spacious, with a beautiful garden and lawn perfect for relaxing during the day or enjoying the evening breeze. Despite being right in the city center, the location is peaceful, and most attractions are within walking distance. For a great meal, we recommend Tiger Tiger for lunch—it’s conveniently located right in front of the cottage. The caretakers are incredibly honest and kind, and their three well-mannered children respect your privacy, only interacting when approached. Overall, a perfect blend of vintage charm, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Mr. Satish is a kind and helpful host, helped me with late checkin without any fuss. The place is clean, simple and cute. Easy to locate and accessible and comfortable. The swing and little sitout is a nice addition. The kitchen has everything you need to make Tea, coffee, Maggie etc. Overall the place is pretty and peaceful despite being in the city.

We loved staying at Villa Mercara! It is as close to the center of Madikeri as you can get without being in the bustle of the market & bus stand. This beautifully appointed spacious house, was a great place for 6 of us to spend time together. Plus: It comes with a great restaurant and coffee shop on the grounds. Bonus: the lovely hosts Shubha & Vik - who made us feel right at home!

We stayed for 3 days and it was a really beautiful place. The name suits the place very well. The hosts were really sweet and friendly. Made us very comfortable. They offer coffee every day and was a nice gesture to make us feel at home. The place was clean and as shown in the pictures. It was easy to commute to the nearby locations like Raja Seat Garden, Madikeri fort etc. Would recommend staying here 10/10

How do you describe a place like this in words? If you're looking for a place that looks like paradise? Stop searching and go here. The name cocoland makes total sense. When you enter it you immediately feel the island vibe. Doc and his 4 dog buddies are the reason that makes the place even more magical. He's willing to tell you everything about the island and the Indian traditions like Theyyam and Kalaripayattu. Also willing to answer all your questions, especially the ones about coconuts; he's the coconut master. And he gave us an inside look into the real Kerala. We stayed in the Matsya house; it was cozy, comfy and clean. The house looks exactly like the pictures on air bnb. You can really see his artistic influence in the house. Besides all of this; the served food prepared by a chef is so finger-licking delicious, 3 times a day you feel like you're in heaven. We'll definitely come back for some liming, nalla. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Villa Avni. The villa was clean, tastefully designed and furnished, and had all amenities we needed. The kitchen had refrigerator, stove top, and was stocked with pots and pans that allowed us to make light meals and tea/coffee as needed. Our host, Naren, was very hospitable and tended to any requests we had immediately. He offered to show us around, though we could not take up the offer. The highlight though was proximity to the beach - we could easily walk up to it in mornings, evenings and even after dinner. It was beautiful and the section of the beach was mostly empty except for a few locals.

Everything matched the description and it was lovely to be there.The only thing the bothered us a bit were the cats though cute the didn’t let us have our food outdoors although some would love that. So all in all it was a great place would definitely recommend

The host was very responsive and really humble and always available for any queries and made sure we felt right at home and arranged for early check in too. Will definitely visit again.
