Sharon was a great attentive host. Made arrival and departure easy. This place had hands down the most well equipped kitchen I've ever seen! Beautiful views of the sun setting.

We loved staying at John's place, especially hanging out on the screened-in and open decks in the back of the house facing the water. Beautiful view, quiet, and very peaceful. We also had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well-appointed.

Our family had a great time at Connie’s! The kids had loads to do in the game room and we all enjoyed the scenic views and relaxing environment. Bathrooms were also super clean. The refrigerator is enormous and was helpful because there aren’t too many food places around so we cooked a lot. Connie was responsive and friendly. We would recommend her place!

Amy’s A-frame cabin on the pond as great for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. We loved the fire pit and used it both nights. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Colonial Beach and Westmorland State Park but still nice and private!

The house was spectacular, it has a beautiful view where the tranquility of the water, the wind and the sunset, make you forget everything. I went with my 8 friends who also enjoyed the space, it was a divine experience which I would recommend to anyone. A place to disconnect from the outside world and enjoy everything you have around you. If my friends and I go back to Maryland, I'm sure we'll choose this place again. This was our fourth time staying at this wonderful property, and it never disappoints! The house is clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated with beautiful views of the river. There is so much for kids to do — our ten-year-old twins stayed busy all day every day with the treehouse, slide, trampoline, swimming off the dock, tree swing, crab traps, and the many board games and puzzles provided. One of the things we love most about staying here is that there’s so much to keep the kids happily entertained, giving us parents time to relax by the firepit and truly unwind. The home is thoughtfully stocked with anything you might need, and Landon is always a pleasure to work with — friendly, responsive, and communicative. We already have our summer trip booked and can't wait to return!

Nice house for a group - nice bedrooms and space. Peaceful area and beautiful view! House is well taken care of and had all we needed for a relaxing weekend. Town of Montross was cute.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Our entire purpose of this weekend getaway was to relax and enjoy the surroundings and we came to the perfect place- Being on the water is so peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed the hot tub and watching the sunrise. The dock was nice for relaxing and some fishing. The home is decorated nicely with everything you need. Thank you Brittany !
