We had an amazing stay at Thomas's cabin in Slade! The location is absolutely perfect—just minutes from the main entrance to Red River Gorge via the iconic Nada Tunnel, and close to all the popular hikes and outdoor activities in the area. It’s also conveniently located near Stanton, so picking up groceries or any essentials was quick and easy. The cabin itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and thoughtful design throughout. It was spotless, well-organized, and had plenty of space for my three kids to enjoy their downtime inside. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and we loved relaxing on the porch, soaking in the peaceful views. This place was a perfect blend of comfort and adventure—we’d definitely stay here again!

Our daughter had wonderful experiences in her 2 stays, one with just her dog & one with her husband and dog. She had raved about this place and about Margo, so we booked at our first opportunity, & will return at the next. The house is well-supplied with every need, and the choices of seating are all comfortable. My husband has a back issue; at home, he sleeps mostly in a Lazy-boy chair. At Hill Top, he was able to sleep longer in bed, & napped in one of the comfy chairs. From the house, we took 3 different routes to sightsee, and each route had beautiful forests & farms along the way. Natural Bridge State Park, Stanton which has a lovely little family-owned restaurant, Beattyville where the 3 forks of the Kentucky River merge, Irvine and Ravenna have long historical ties to railroads, and of course, Red River Gorge are all places to enjoy. Even if one wants to spend a few days hanging out, this is a very special, peaceful place to spend time with yourself and with family!

Lauren's place was the cleanest, most cozy, and relaxing place I have stayed. Literally, everything I needed was supplied. The bed was so comfortable, I wanted to stay there all day 😀. The hot tub was perfect, clean and the perfect temperature. Lauren was nice, kind, and quick with responses. This will be my new place to go when I need a mini vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to hiking and great spots to eat. We brought our dog and didn't have any issues with their dogs being nearby. The back deck has a little gate to close off getting to the front of the house, which was very helpful to have our dog with us on the deck without worrying if she would wonder to the front. Cabin is comfortable and had everything we needed- loved the Blackstone! Surroundings are peaceful and really beautiful. Our son loved to play with their doggies. Lastly, Tim and Tammy were always responsive, and were very kind. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

It was so nice to stay here! So many nice amenities and John was so helpful even when I asked stupid questions. Great space to hang out and close to hiking spots and Miguel’s pizza! Kitchen was phenomenal. My friends were a bit creeped out by the surroundings but maybe that’s bc we aren’t used to rural Kentucky (we live in rural OH). The hot tub was SO nice. Recommend heating it five hours before you get in, it was not so warm the first night!

Relaxing, cozy space for a good getway and close to Red river gorge

the stay here was wonderful. our host had chairs and a table set out and ready for us. the location is excellent! Just far enough out to feel quiet and secluded. it was a great place to take our daughter "camping" for the first time. the only downside was the stinkbugs everywhere. but I suppose changing seasons out in the country, it is to be expected.

Loveee this place. The view was breathtaking. Candi and Ches was super responsive. Everything was great!

My sister and I stayed at Sonya’s Airbnb to go to the crystal kayak tour. Sonya very friendly we fell in love with her , her place is by far one of the best Airbnb’s that I have stayed at. Sonya’s dogs would greet us in the morning or whenever we can to the hot tub and pool. The view landscape everything was amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
