We really enjoyed our stay. The property is finished to a high spec and in a great area. there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink within easy walking distance and we found the locals to all be very friendly and chatty.. our big dog is like a celebrity wherever we take him so that's always a conversation starter! For other dog owners - the yard is VERY secure and you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub without worrying about them. There are light coloured carpets in some rooms downstairs but I had read that on previous reviews so bought many blankets and towels to cover the floor where the dogs would walk and lie.our dogs wouldn't go to the toilet on the yard and the grassy area isn't enclosed from the owners area so we made sure we had them on a lead. Not really an issue but I didn't realise the garden wouldn't be enclosed..only mentioning it to help others. We didn't get to meet Scott but when I had a question he was always super quick in replying .will definitely be back

Ian and Donna's space is special. As soon as you enter, you get this wholesome feeling. The space is built to share, with a beautiful octagon living room and kitchen at the core of the build. There are so many amazing outdoor seating areas in adventurous nooks of the garden, which is so well looked after. I am a converted Sauna man after this trip. I loved going from the wood fire cabin to the freezing cold shower and back. The Hot Tub was a great addition too. We booked this Airbnb with the expectation that we wouldn't need to leave, and it kept up with that expectation. We played many a garden game, including Croquet and Kubb (Scandinavian game, check it out!) and Maria (private chef that was connected with us via Ian and Donna) was a superstar and cooked a 5-star meal. All in all great weekend. Just wish it were a bit closer to London!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be staying again. It’s something different and so peaceful! We sat outside and lit a fire and looked out at the amazing views. Thankyou so much for our stay we can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay at the farm! Are shepherds hut was cozy but had everything we needed practically too! And, the views were just stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed the farm tour, hanging out with goats and watching the sunset from the hot tub was divine. Bothe Dot and Jen were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for some time to unwind and reconnect with nature. Thank you so much

We had a truly wonderful stay at Richard’s barn! The place is located in a beautiful area – perfect for sightseeing and long hikes in nature. The barn itself is cozy and very well equipped with everything you might need to relax and enjoy your time. The indoor fireplace adds a lovely atmosphere, and the hot tub is a fantastic bonus after a day of exploring. The location is ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet close to many great trails and local attractions. Richard is an absolutely lovely host – super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. This place is so beautiful, I’m really glad I chose it for my wedding eve. We were surrounded by gorgeous animals - sheep, lambs, hens and even deer in the morning. The place is so light and spacious with everything you could need including fresh eggs! Susan was really helpful, accommodating and very responsive to messages. Thank you for a wonderful time, your place is amazing.

A charming cottage, very close to all the local amenities in the lovely town of Holmfirth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Everything you could possible need was provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay, also included was a welcoming pack which included all the basic essentials you might need on arrival and a few extras treats as well, all very much appreciated. There was excellent communication and support from Angela the host and the supporting team throughout. l hope to stay there again on a future trip.

Had a great stay at Jeff's place in Holmbridge. Communication was very good and check in was a breeze. The tea and coffee facilities and breakfast cereals with fresh milk in the fridge was a welcome touch. It's a lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a handy guide to the living cal area and amenities. Holmfirth is just a short drive away, but The Pickled Pheasant is a great walkable option for food and drinks in this lovely peaceful village. Would happily return.

Jane's property was in a fab location for our weekend we were able to do both the countryside and the city. The immediate area is lovely and quiet and having pub shop and station within walking distance was brilliant. The garden made the weekend a pleasure because of fab weather. All instructions were really helpful .

Great location for countryside walks and also for catching the train into Manchester within half hour.

We loved our stay at Swallows Nest. A tranquil, peaceful stay which allowed us to remove ourselves from our busy lives for a few days and enjoy the quiet. Slaithwaite has loads to offer too in terms of good restaurants & nice walks… all in such a picturesque spot too. Everything in the cottage was top standard. Clean. Comfy beds. The shower is great and the bath is huge! Our daughter very much enjoyed her relaxing baths every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Rumpus is a must visit in town for the most delicious burgers using beef from the cattle at Sally’s farm. Thank you Sally for such a wonderful stay.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Had a really love stay at this property for a hen do. Really scenic location, host was welcoming and very friendly. Gave clear instructions on where to park, plenty of car parking spaces. It is on a steep hill, so just something to bear in mind. House was lovely and clean and had everything we needed! Beds were super comfy too! Thanks again Sara! x

We had a great time staying at Hywel’s place. The check in process was super quick and simple and the house was beautiful, really cosy and homely. The place was super clean and had everything we needed and more! There’s also a fab collection of games to play on an evening in the living room. I didn’t know too much about the location prior to booking, however I was really pleasantly surprised. Marsden is full of gorgeous restaurants and cafes, and we were spoilt for choice finding somewhere for breakfast on the day we left and they were all really close by. Hywel is super friendly and has been really attentive, we would definitely come back! Thank you for having us!

Perfect in every way! The Chicken Barn was in a fantastic location for walking - with routes literally on the doorstep. The accommodation was great - it was clean and well equipped. Communication with Linda was easy. We enjoyed our stay so much we’re planning on booking again!

A lovely cosy home, eclectically furnished and ideally located within walking distance of all of Hebden Bridge’s attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and everything was provided to ensure a very comfortable stay.

We had an emergency at our house due to some building work and found mikes place on here. It was a short notice weekday booking yet everything was perfect. So thankful for all the little well thought through extras like tea, milk, juice etc. The flat is gorgeous and the garden is beautiful with a lovely view of the hills. We only live down the road but we'd be tempted to book again just to stay somewhere so lovely. Thank you so much mike.

This lovely flat was situated high up in the heart of Manchester City centre. Excellent location within walkable distance to bars and restaurants. The flat is very nicely decorated with a lovely balcony overlooking the skyline. The flat was clean and tidy the kitchen was well stocked. My bed was super comfy with a lovely soft duvet. Warren was a really attentive host offering a large selection of places to eat and drink which took the pressure off of me having to do that before I came. I would highly recommend this place for a stay a little gem in the heart of the city.

We had the best time staying at the vestry. Emma and Ian communicated well before and during our stay. We can be a little nervous travelling with our 5 year old son due to his food allergies however Emma ensured nothing was left that could have caused a potential reaction. The vestry is full of character and the perfect little escape that offered everything we could need. We enjoyed exploring Poynton and found lots of beautiful walks around the area. Lyme park was a favourite of our sons. We also enjoyed trips into Manchester and found the vestry the perfect spot to rest after a busy day. We would have loved to visit in autumn or winter to make use of the log fire but there is always next time 😊

Hi Jane We had a lovely short stay in The Dairy. We were so lucky with the weather! It was lovely having breakfast outside! The place was small but had all the things we needed. It was spotlessly clean. Only thing- we tried to use the oven but couldn’t seem to turn it on. However we used microwave instead! Thank you. Carol

Fantastic flat, smack in the middle of action. The Northern Quarter is fun! So many restaurants, cafes, shops. We walked to Etihad for a game and walked back—an amazing experience. The flat is stylish, clever, comfortable, and very clean. Paula is an excellent communicator. A wonderful stay.

Lock Keepers Cottage is amazing ! Location is perfect , it comes with a feeling of being priviledge to stay in a cottage Lock Keepers . Everything was wonderful , clean , and we had amazing time . Will be back !!!
