Alaska Aurora Northstar Cabin

Enjoy all that Alaska has to offer. Very private log home in country setting. One of the best places in the world to enjoy the a northern lights. It has one large loft bedroom with steep stairs. 1 queen bed and 2 single beds plus a small room off of the main room separated by privacy wall and curtain with 2 beds, for a total of 5 beds. Lots of wildlife in the local area. Full bathroom, Kitchen, washer& dryer. 11 miles from North pole 25 miles from Fairbanks, 5 miles from Eielson AFB Front Gate.

I spent over two years looking for the best place to have an Airbnb in the area, and this was the winning spot! It is less than 20 minutes from the airport. You are in a quiet, peaceful place with over 40 acres of trees and wildlife around. The home is on Murphy Dome which is the best point to see the lights and you can easily see the lights from the comfort of this comfy vacation home. Hunting, fishing, hiking...all walking distance! Designed by "Treehouse Masters" Pete Nelson, this build is packed with tons of architectural whimsy.The treehouse has a queen sized bed upstairs that is accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a kitchenette with a keurig coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven/air fryer, mini fridge and hot plate. There is no running water in the treehouse so there a gray water system for the sink. The treehouse is located in Fairbanks.
