It is not 5 star accommodation but it did not say it was. It was clean and things worked. Great value for a group of friends travelling. 2 night stay sitting on the deck in the evening, the view of the falls and below was great. We ate at the manor a couple of minutes' walk away and enjoyed Karoke. Second night we made dinner. What was important to us? a) 8 of us can stay together b) keeping cost down c) clean. We will come back in again on the next trip in 2026.

This home is awesome, so close to everything and has everything you need. Unfortunately, the pool heating wasn't playing ball but we were able to take advantage of the spa.

We had an amazing stay! Rodd was incredibly professional and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is absolutely stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. The amenities provided truly elevated the experience as we had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. My family and I had so much fun as there's so much to do, and all of the amenities are in amazing condition. Thank you Rodd for being so accomodating! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

The location was perfect—close to local cafes, shops, and stunning nature spots. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Bay of Islands!

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy’s place, who kept in contact with us throughout our stay in case we needed anything! The place had everything we needed and more 😊 We especially loved the table tennis which kept us busy during the stormy and rainy days 😊 We can highly recommend staying here! Elisa & Co.

We had an epic stay at Douglas's as we got caught there in a cyclone! The weather was so bad that we lost power, but that didn't matter because Douglas made sure we had everything we needed. He was so kind, and made sure we knew what to do and what was available in town. I'm extremely grateful! The place was tidy and cozy, and you can't beat the location. I would recommend his place to anyone looking to explore and enjoy Russell!

Incredible spot overlooking the ocean and Cavalli Islands. House is really well laid out for a mixed age group with one bedroom and lounge area seperate from main living. Plenty of parking and room for the boat, fishing was excellent! Great stay for a week.

Fantastic place. Very well placed for the beaches and only a short drive into Mangonui for restaurants. Very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. Highly recommended.

Francine’s house is located at a quiet residential area,five minutes drive to restaurants and shops. the rooms and bathrooms are specious, the deck is overlooking at a beautiful view of the forests very relaxing.Thank you Francie for your prompt response and the late check out. Francie we had a good time at your home however the stairs at the entry were challenging for my husband as he had difficulty going up and down the stairs, not suitable for people with disabilities. I should have checked that out .Highly recommend if the stairs are not an issue.
