Das liebevoll restaurierte Fischerhaus mit seinem historischen Charme ist perfekt für eine Reise auf die Färöer Inseln. Es liegt sehr privat und ist super ausgestattet. Wir haben uns auf direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Unser Gastgeber Jóannes war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und konnte uns als Färringer, dessen Familie seit Generationen auf den Inseln lebt, sehr gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt und spannende Einblicke in das Leben der Menschen hier geben. We loved this tiny historic spot in old Torshavn. It had everything we needed and was perfect in every way! Restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops were a few steps away. Highly recommend this spot!

Alinas Haus hat unsere Erwartungen weit hinaus übertroffen. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre, die geschmackvolle und zweckmäßige Ausstattung, die wunderschöne Lage, schließlich Alinas liebe Unterstützung haben uns begeistert und wir waren sogar traurig "unser" Haus zu verlassen denn wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die Lage ermöglicht eine leichte Erreichbarkeit aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir waren zu Dritt und haben uns sehr gut eingerichtet. Für längere Aufenthälte braucht es vermutlich etwas Anpassungsfähigkeit denn es gibt keine Schränke und die zwei Betten im unteren Geschoss sind durch eine steile Leiter erreichbar.

Place is really nice and cozy. The oven view from the living room is amazing. The host is very nice and helpful. They sent us many useful links that enhanced our travel experience. I would recommend this place if it’s your first time in Faroe island. Place is close to downtown so you have access to restaurants. Just watch your head if you’re too tall hahah

Fantastic and authentic place, the house is even to find in the tourist magazine. Well equipped kitchen and great furnitures. Cozy and warm, Henry was a very nice host - 5 star from here

Absolutely perfect for a solo traveller or couples, with friendly hosts. It made an excellent base for a few days exploring and it was very relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of the stream on a night.

Kristian and Rakul did a fabulous job renovating this historic house, adding modern conveniences, seamlessly combining the old with the new. Their design eye makes this home pleasing to look at but also very comfortable to live in. We felt a warm time travel hominess to this magical place.

The cottage (Roykstovan) was so lovely!!! It was very peaceful and quiet- loved listening to the waves. Elduvík is out of the way but worth it. We loved having fires in the wood stove at night. The kitchen is perfectly functional and the bathroom is super nice- heated floors! Staying here was an amazing getaway. Also Aksel was super nice and communicative and gave great recommendations for hikes!
