The house was really nice and a great place to stay! Having the lake directly across the street was really nice to wake up to. The hot tub was such a nice amenity to have, and it was a "proper" hot tub! We would love to stay here again!

Great property and suburb to stay near Dulles Airport, Shenandoah National Park and DC. Area is safe and quiet and I was able to park in the driveway. The basement is large and tastefully furnished and had everything I need. Pre-arrival communication is great with Roy. Will stay again.

Beautiful cottage next to the owners home. We stayed with our dog and it was right on their farm. Such a beautiful property with our own screened in porch to have morning coffee & view of the pond. Loved the fresh eggs provided from their chickens, they were delicious!! And it was really nice to take walks around the property and see the goats/cows/chickens. The guest cottage was great & loved having kitchen and laundry. There were also tons of walking trails / vineyards close by. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

Clean and comfortable place really well situated between Marshall (check out Red Truck bakery for coffee and baked treats enjoyed by politicians and celebrities alike as well as Field & Main restaurant for high end farm to table dining) and Plains (more down to earth town, the coffee shop has great pour over and delicious cookies), just 15 mins from Middleburg (the main tourist draw town in the area). An easy and enjoyable stay, we didn’t need to contact Joni because she gave us all the information we needed, helpful and efficient. The outdoor space is well maintained and really lovely with lots of areas for relaxing and outdoor dining. The veg/flower garden looked great but nothing growing this time around. It is right on the freight train line so be prepared for some occasional loud noise. We had a 16 month old baby with us and it wasn’t a problem. Overall really good value, great place and would stay again.

Just the place for a nice family getaway! Beautiful home with lots of amenities. The home is very spacious and comfortable. The living room with the 4 recliners was very nice and used for our family game nights. My 8 yr old granddaughter especially loved the ping pong table along with the keyboard in the lower level. Jenny was quick to respond to any questions we had. The winery she suggested was a lovely atmosphere for our Saturday afternoon. Our Saturday night outside fire 🔥 with s’mores topped off our night. I highly suggest this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Stephen has literally thought of everything. It felt so cozy and was pristine clean. Looked even better than the pictures…I joked that I wished I could live there! 10/10

Garet's place was the perfect for reunion weekend with my college friends. It's less than 1.5 miles to downtown Middleburg and 5 mins from Salamander. The house was really well equipped, clean and ideal for our group of 5. Garet was very responsive, and thoughtful in leaving out the cooking equipment we asked for (the kitchen has everything you need). We loved staying here, and are already planning a trip back.

My husband and I were in town while visiting Shenandoah. West Park Gardens was a fantastic place to lay our heads between hikes. Everything matched the description and exceeded our expectations. We briefly met Stephen and he was kind, friendly, and eager to ensure we had a good stay. The game room was a wonderful way to wind down in the evening. The only thing that wasn't ideal is that the bed was a little squeaky and as a light sleeper that disrupted my sleep a bit. However everything else was great and an excellent value. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others looking to stay in the area or seeking to explore the park. It was only about 30 min or so drive to the Old Rag trail head from here.
