Our recent stay was standout! The accommodations were so beautiful with original period features, stunning architecture and a location that is unbeatable. It was a stay with 5 people- myself, my parents and two children (5 and 7) and there was plenty of room for us all. There was no need to use the car as you are right in town and everything was easily walkable. The river with the paddle boat and Saturday markets was just a 3 minute stroll. The kitchen was well appointed and you are so close to many bars, cafes and restaurants if we didn’t feel like cooking. The bathroom was luxurious with a huge bath and underfloor heating which was a real treat for us. The home was full of lovely furniture and pottery which made it feel very homely and unique. We felt so lucky to stay in one of Whanganui’s historic buildings. We will be recommending to anyone headed to Whanganui :)

Had a fabulous stay here while exploring Whanganui- so close to the town where we visited the Saturday market. The unit is really stylish and has a nice view of the river. Would stay again!

Felt like home away from home. We were staying for work but would totally book again if we needed somewhere to stay with family, it’s huge and has everything you need!

Beautiful place, the owner baked us a fresh loaf which was amazing. Really appreciate how friendly the owner was, left us to our own devices after a nice hello. The sculpture garden was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the lake. Perfect in the evening to cozy up and watch something on the smart TV with some Air-Con too. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

A fabulous spot overlooking the city and the Whanganui River with wonderful wrap around veranda and floor to ceiling glass which made the most of the beautiful setting. Everything was very modern and well maintained. A very nice place to spend a few days in Whanganui.

We had a great weekend staying here, super chilled and easy due to the location. Right on the river, rolled out of the house to the fab market and just walked everywhere. We were all extremely comfortable and loved the modern aesthetic. We’ll be back!

This whare was a beautiful place to go to after very long days. Warm, tidy, fully functioning kitchen. Very thankful for such a nice whare to host us among a very busy work week.

We had to make an emergency trip back to NZ after the sudden passing of a beloved family member. Sarah’s home was perfect for our big group, close to amenities and not far from whanau and friends. The house was very homely, clean and inviting. We loved the spa, it helped us all unwind after our long stressful days. Sarah was very responsive when I messaged in relation to questions whilst we visited. We would definitely book again!

What a beautiful house. The bed was so comfy that now the mrs wants to throw out her bed. Loved the bathroom, gave us some great ideas for our own build. Beautiful house.

Very nice space to stay in. Comfortable for our group and good fenced yard areas.

Fiona's place was a great launching pad for our work in the region. Unfortunately, weather packed us in early and she was already booked again the following week but would have been happy to stay again. Home has a lot of character. Comfy soft beds, hot showers, and Wi-Fi is all we needed. And she was great at keeping in touch for things. Lindors were a nice touch!

We had a great Stay at Waikawa, location and accommodation suited our family very well. The games provided in the garage got lots of use, pool table and table tennis. Dogs made the most of the large grounds and peaceful sorroundinds. . Very comfortable for all. Helped that we had perfect weather for a great family break away.

This is the quintessential Kiwi bach with a bonus trampoline for the kids and a volleyball net for everyone! We enjoyed the generous outside living space, and there is a covered outside deck for our family dog to stay. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Great location, only a 2-minute drive to the beach, and to the forest for walking and biking tracks. Supermarket is about an 8-minute drive into Foxton.

This was my second stay at Ohm home, the first time being 5 years ago when I stayed here for 7 days on my own. This time was with my partner and since staying here the first time I’ve always raved about this stay and looked fondly back at the photos I’d taken. As great as the place looks from photos, nothing is as incredible and picturesque as actually being there and wow did it still amaze me being back again. The home itself is amazing, spotlessly clean with all the amenities and some very nice extra touches to make the stay that much nicer. The views and environment there are truly special and unique and I’ve not found any other place to be able to so easily feel at peace and truly switch off and relax. We will definitely be staying here again and I don’t think there will ever be another stay and experience even close to Ohm home.
