Nous sommes allés dans le Riad de Lydia durant 3 nuits. En amont de notre séjour, Lydia a toujours été réactive à nos demandes afin que nous puissions préparer notre séjour dans les meilleures conditions. Abdellatif et Aïcha nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement. Le Riad est majestueux et nous a époustouflé dès notre arrivée. Nous avons réalisé une excursion grâce à Abdellatif qui était top (2h avec un chauffeur a surplomber la médina!) Ils nous ont également trouvé un taxi pour rejoindre l’aéroport en pleine nuit. Un grand merci à vous 3 et très belle continuation 😊

Stunning Riad with gardens that not only look beautiful but sound and smell beautiful. A great location offering a spot of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of he city. It was lovely to met Samae who cooked us an absolutely delicious meal, kindly catering for a vegan and children as well. Fully recommend.

Thank you so much to Touria and Jamal for accommodating us at such short notice. I think we booked with less than 12 hours notice and yet they managed to get the house clean and ready for us to check-in and greeted us with a Moroccan breakfast. We felt very welcome. The villa is beautiful, spacious and in a very quiet and secure neighbourhood. Our honest feeling is that it was nicer than the photos! Jamal was our point person and he was always available and always responded to any queries very quickly. This was and is very much appreciated.

We enjoyed it a lot in this beautiful Riad. Really really friendly team, beautiful rooms and in the middle of the old town!

I didn’t want to leave Suzanna’s place! This is the only way to visit Fez — staying in an authentic riad. The beauty really can’t be quantified in photos or in a review. It was perfect. A couple of points: 1) Another review mentioned stairs being steep but I did not find this to be true. There are stairs, like in any riad, but they weren’t as numerous or as steep as most other places in Morocco, in my opinion. 2) This is not “hotel perfect” — and you wouldn’t want it to be. The home breathes history… things like worn tiles are the quirks that convey its long rich life. It is a privilege to stay in a place like this. 3) If offered, get the breakfast! It was really nice to have that. I’d stay a thousand more times. Don’t hesitate!

Je reviendrai les yeux fermer Ali est une personne, vraiment accueillante et très serviable, mention aussi spécial a notre Aïcha, une femme formidable qui nous a régaler cette semaine. La maison est très spacieuse et super agréable si vous cherchez la tranquillité et le silence ✨. Merci encore, au plaisir de vous revoir ✨🫶🏼

Magnifique maison avec piscine, l’endroit est super calme et reposant. Les enfants ont pu s’amuser que ça soit dans la piscine ou autour de la maison. Selma est très accueillante, toujours réactive au message et compréhensive. Le gardien est très très gentil, vous pouvez lui demander n’importe quoi il saura vous servir. Je recommande le logement, pour son calme et sa propreté et son isolation. A 20 min du centre ville de FES en voiture. Vous avez une petite boutique à 5min à pied du logement. Si vous avez besoin d’un endroit isolé et en famille n’hésitez pas. À l’année prochaine Selma. Et merci encore 🙏🏻

Très beau riad avec de beaux espaces de vie, trois belles suites très spacieuses et deux chambres plus petites mais fonctionnelles pour les enfants. Décoration authentique. Interlocuteurs amicaux et très soucieux de notre bien-être avec des moments d'échanges très agréables. Un grand merci à Layla, Mohamed et Fatima. Nous avions fait le choix de prendre nos dîners au riad et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Cuisine authentique et de qualité. Nous avons eu ainsi l'occasion de goûter à de nombreux plats typiques. A noté qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une piscine mais d'un très joli bassin pour la baignade des petits enfants Décoration authentique. Nous recommandons sans hésiter le riad Tayba.

Overall a great place to stay, confortable. We loved the interior and the build of our Riad. Right in the heart of the city. The stay is an old building in one of the oldest town in Morocco (or maybe the world) so we can’t expect spotless / dust free place, so expectation must be accounted. We personally liked it, but a few times the entrance door got stuck, some lightbulbs were out, the toilet had water always running. There was imperfections and few annoyances. But again the infrastructure is old, somethings can’t be helped. The Riad reception were helpful, the checkin experience was ok. They did not send any prior message/notice about our stay before arriving so I had to contact them about it, ask to arrange an airport taxi, but we got to the Riad without problem. At reception, they guided us about the town and ways to see attractions. Our checkout experience was ok, but the taxi arrangement nearly costed us a flight unfortunately. Mis-communications with taxi, luggage carrier…

Pim’s place was exactly as described, a beautifully decorated traditional home with a comfy terrace. The recommendations were spot on, it was great to have Yassin come get us from the parking lot. He was courteous and helpful and the breakfast served delicious. Pim helped us hire a great tour guide for half a day, ask for Hamid if interested.

Un excellent Riad et d’excellents hôtes !! L’accueil a été chaleureux et très professionnel, ils sont aux petits soins pour chacune de vos demandes. Leurs recommandations sont excellentes et le lieu est magique, calme et paisible. Nous y sommes allés pendant l’hiver mais les chambres sont bien chauffées, les infrastructures sont neuves et de qualités (hammam, jacuzzi…). La terrasse donne une vue sur toute la médina et est très bien arborée (jasmin, oliviers…) Nous ne voulions plus partir Merci encore Abdelali, Omar et toute l’équipe !! À très vite inchallah !

Ich habe noch nie in so einem schönen Haus gewohnt. Eine sehr besondere Erfahrung für mich. Es ist traditionell gebaut, hat wunderschöne Fliesen, geht über zwei Stockwerke inklusive einer Dachterrasse. Es gibt viel Platz, auch für mehrere Personen (3 Schlafzimmer). Dafür ist der Preis absolut angemessen. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt in der Medina, wenn man noch nie da war ist es anfangs nicht ganz einfach sich zurecht zu finden, aber Hamza holt einen ab und zeigt einem den Weg, sodass es kein Problem ist. Es gibt einen guten und sicheren Parkplatz am Rand der Medina. Hamza ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und super gut erreichbar. Er weiß viel über die Geschichte und Orte in Fés. Da die Waschmaschine während meines Aufenthalts kaputt war, hat Hamza kurzer Hand eine gute alternative organisiert. Ich kann die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würde wieder kommen, um Freunde mitzubringen :)

séjour au delà de nos espérances. le riad est magnifique, les chambres très spacieuses chacune avec sa salle de bain et ses toilettes. Des mosaïques magnifiques, une terrasse très agréable, un vrai palais. il est possible d'avoir des repas marocains au riad faits sur place par fatima zahra, excellente cuisinière. couscous, tajine, brochettes , .... mieux qu'au restaurant! Jennifer et Abdullah nous ont concocté un programme adapté à nos demandes et même plus! le ménage est fait tous les jours. nous vous recommandons vraiment ce logement, nous avons fait de très belles rencontres,merci beaucoup à vous trois pour avoir rendu ce séjour familial inoubliable. Nous sommes arrivés en terrain inconnu et sommes répartis riche de rencontres, d'échange de culture et de nouveaux amis. Séance d'essayage d'habits traditionnels , cour de cuisine avec Fatima zahra, merci pour ta recette du tajine! Nous y retournerons dès que possible pour visiter les environs de Fès et reviendrons vous voir à coup sûr

I had a wonderful stay! A special thank you to Hamza and Houssam, they were incredibly kind, gentle, flexible, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The place was just as described: clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. They even provided us with free coffee, tea, and many other thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at the Dezayn was a delightful stay, we loved the riad it was very traditional. Each room has an en suite which was a great. The house keeper Abdul lateef was very helpful and always was around. Breakfast was lovely, the location was great but a 15-20 min uphill walk to the blue gate. Over all a great value for money riad we had a lovely 3 night stay and thank you Pierre’s for always responding to our messages promptly.

El alojamiento es increíble y está en el lugar perfecto para alojarse si quieres conocer la parte de la Medina de la ciudad de Fez, ya que se encuentra cerca de una de las calles principales, de las pocas por las que no te pierdes en Fez. Además del alojamiento, contratamos el desayuno, los traslados al apartamento desde el aeropuerto y dos visitas guiadas. Os recomendamos encarecidamente contratar estos servicios, ya que las visitas son increíbles y te acogen con mucha hospitalidad. La visita de la Medina de todo el día incluye visitar artesanos donde te enseñan cómo realizan sus productos locales (todo en español). Además, realizamos la visita Middle-Atlas donde conocimos la cultura bereber y la fauna y flora local. Muy recomendable también. Para realizar estas visitas tuvimos chóferes cada día y la visitas fueron para nuestro grupo (8 personas). Si algún día vuelvo a Marruecos no dudaré en contactar con Mohamed, nos queda pendiente el desierto y Chefchauen!

This was an absolute gem! As a family of four who loves to travel extensively this riad was exactly what we were looking for. Set in the very heart of the medina and fully immersed into local life. Totally authentic. The riad itself is very well preserved and maintained. Spread out across four floors this was super spacious and indeed can sleep up to 10. Great shower, lots of climbing and hiding opportunities for our kids and a wonderful roof top terrace to listen to the sound of the call to prayer (which you can hardly hear from the bedrooms). Mrs Latifa, the woman in charge, was super friendly and helpful, and for a small extra charge she whipped up a wonderful breakfast and also prepared a lush local dinner for us to warm up in the evening. And then there was Youssouf who kindly met us at the Bab Guissa Gate, even if it was late at night due to a delay. He guided us to the house and in the morning he took us on a tour around town until we were comfortable enough on our own.

Omar and his family were extremely nice and helpful. We booked the whole riad for our group of 13 and there were plenty of rooms and space. He came to the parking to pick us up and guide us to the house, we arrived very late. Its right in the medina in a very convenient location. Her mum prepared moroccan breakfast both days for 20dirhams each which was great. If you need milk in the breakfast tell them in advance cause its not typical. We knew we are in Morocco so it was fine for us, but be aware cleaning standards are not the same. Kitchen and bathrooms were dirty and smelly, but beds sheets were clean. 2 rooms were having bedbugs and people got stings, we killed some of them. We were allowed to keep our bags after the checkout downstairs. Wifi worked great. I would recommend but cleaning needs to be improved to met european standards.

War ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Fes und im Haus des Gastgebers. Allein die Dachterrasse und die Sicht über Fes war unbezahlbar. Nur eine winzige Kritik: Nur in einen Schlafzimmer funktioniert die Klimaanlage wie sie soll. Aber es ist trotz der Hitze in August noch angenehm.

Ein wundervoll prachtvolles Riad inmitten der Medina von Fes. Mir kam es vor wie ein Traum aus tausend und einer Nacht. Liebevoll ausgestattet und gepflegt von Vincent und seiner Familie. Das Haus ist sehr, sehr alt. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist (Gassen der Medina, Treppen im Riad), für den könnte es ein wenig beschwerlich sein. Wir haben es geliebt stundenlang durch die Gassen der Medina zu stromern und jeden Tag viele neue wunderschöne Seiten der altehrwürdigen Stadt Fes zu entdecken. Das Haus hat fast etwas museales, das muss man mögen. Wir fanden es unvergleichlich interessant, schön und fantasienanregend. Danke, lieber Vincent, für die wundervolle Zeit in eurem Riad. Vincent hat unsere Ankunft und Abreise perfekt (!) organisiert und ist unbeschreiblich herzlich und liebenswürdig.

Très beau riad privatisable, confortable et très propre. Toutes les commodités sont à disposition. Notre hôtesse nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Le secteur est calme et suffisamment loin des odeurs des tanneries. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Nos sentimos muy cómodos en el alojamiento de Siham, el anfitrión fue realmente amable y estuvo muy pendientes de nosotros para facilitarnos la llegada al alojamiento o simplemente a restaurantes que nos había recomendado. La casa es preciosa y sin duda si quieres saborear un poco del encanto marroquí y su decoración, este es tu sitio. Muy recomendable!!
