Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

This wonderful lakeside log cabin is located 25 km north from Mikkeli. The cabin, finished in 2014, invites you to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Finnish nature. It's cosy and decorated with high-class natural materials and comfortable furnishings and is fully equipped with a modern, compact open plan kitchen, two bedrooms, each with 160 cm x 200 cm beds, loft room with a king size bed, an inviting living room and dining area, bathroom, sauna, separate toilet and a terrace.

Kaunis vastaremontoitu mökki ja suuri rinnetontti puhtaan Storträsk-järven rannalla. Piha on rauhallinen ja luonnonkaunis paikka lomapäivän viettoon jossa naapuritkaan eivät ole näkö etäisyydellä. Terassilta voit ihailla järvimaisemaa tai metsän elämää. Sauna on aivan rannan tuntumassa, veneellä tai sub-laudalla voit lähteä soutelemaan tai kalastelemaan. Talvisinkin pääsee aina uimaan. Pihalta löytyy mm. kaasugrilli ja hiiligrilli sekä nuotiopaikka. Lakanat ja pyyhkeet sisältyy hintaan.

Pihipiirissä on hevosia ja voit halutessasi tutustua tilan omaan tilamuseoon joka sijaitsee 1700-luvulla rakennetussa aitassa. Täällä pääset tutustumaan kulttuurimaisemiin ja nauttimaan maaseudun rauhasta. Mahdollisuus ongitaan ja SUP-lautailuun (15 €/3 h), laituri 2,5 km päässä. Yleiseen uimarantaan 10 km.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. This cozy cottage welcomes you to spend relaxing get-aways and longer remote work stays in the middle of beautiful and peaceful finnish nature. Cottage has two spacious cabins, a well-equipped kitchen, and a good sauna. The charming swimming pond is just a few steps and stairs away from the cottage. There is good wifi, big sunny lawn and no neighbours in sight - so you can swim in your birthday suite if you want :) The nearest grocery store is 12 min ride away.

We offer our lovely guesthouse with sauna and a hot tub to Helsinki area visitors who appreciate nature, privacy and maybe a round of golf- we are located right by the 12th green of Kullo Golf and 40km from Helsinki centre.
