Louise's place was perfect. Louise was so easy to communicate with, super responsive, kind, thoughtful and truly appreciated that she had the option of flexible dates (instead of so many sat to sat or sun to sun requirements in summer). The cottage was cozy, cute, spotless & well stocked. My teenage kids loved the hot tub (as it was a bit chilly in the evenings) and I loved the outdoor shower. We loved having the bikes to take rides around the Island and loved the location. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay there longer! We will definitely try to stay at Old Snuggler again!

Wonderful for a peaceful weekend away. The views were beautiful, the space was clean (with amazing climate control), and the hot tub area was very user friendly. I would definitely stay again! Highly recommend the short walk to Chaffinch Island Park to check out the tide pools.

Beautiful large home, clean linens, plenty of towels, bathtub worked great. John was very responsive and helpful. Slept 9 people comfortably. The living room area was cozy with an indoor fireplace and the kitchen was large with a large oven and dishwasher. Five minute easy walk to a beautiful quiet beach. Highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay with Audie from the moment we reached out to make the booking. Audie was immediately responsive, kind, flexible and super helpful. Audie’s hosting was fantastic, and the house was even better! We’ve stayed in plenty of houses in the Pines and the Grove and we all agreed it was our favorite and well worth the price. There was plenty of space for the four of us to hang out, and the house had all the amenities we could ask for - a huge pool, cozy hot tub, a beautiful rooftop deck to watch the sunset, grill, perfect kitchen and steps from a great area of the beach. Audie’s instructions to get inside were clear and easy to follow. And again, Audie was extremely responsive whenever we had questions during our stay. We loved our stay here!

Wow!! The perfect peaceful getaway that is close to everything!! Tucked away off the road the house is quiet with a beautiful yard. The interior is both stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well outfitted. Andrew is a great host and an excellent communicator. We only wished we could have stayed longer!! The question isn’t will we come back, it’s simply when!

Particularly for dog owners, this haven in the woods up the hill from Cold Spring village is simply perfect. Fully fenced large grassy yard makes all the difference. Just one detail and it'd be beyond perfect: A trip hazard in the house in transition from one room to another.

This is the second time we stayed here and it was even better than the first! They have really taken the time to make the place as welcoming and easy to navigate as possible.

You are immersed in a neighborhood here, with a friendly and professional host living next door. Lots of local eateries rather than chains, and good proximity to Atlantic Highlands, Sandy Hook and Sea Bright. Reminds me of my childhood summers at the Jersey Shore. The place is small but clean and well thought-out from the guest point of view.

Leah was an incredible host, but a bit nervous at first. Our stay was absolutely amazing, and our dogs felt right at home in their cozy cottage. It was such a cute and comfortable place, and we’re so glad we chose Leah as our host. She went above and beyond for us during our stay.

This is a great place to stay. It’s lovely and very conveniently located for the town of guilford and the beach. It’s like staying at a friend’s place, an extremely thoughtful friend who has considered what would make you feel comfortable and welcomed. This is our second stay here and it is one of our favorite air B&B experiences. Jeanne is so considerate and responsive, and has the house perfectly prepared. Stay here if you can.

My husband and I had a great stay. James and Rose are super helpful hosts. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Walking distance to a lovely park they recommended with tons of hiking trails and very quiet.

This was the perfect weekend getaway for 3 friends! The house was spotless and the perfect walking distance from the beach, a great coffee shop, and ice cream. Our hosts were so friendly and even let us check in a little early. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking dinners, the TV had all the apps one could need, and we enjoyed playing the board games that were provided. I will definitely be recommending for anyone looking for a quick, restorative trip out of NYC!

This has hands down been the best winter Airbnb I’ve ever had. Even though it has a beach theme, this could easily double as a winter wonderland cabin. I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday and before we left we were already planning our next trip back! This is hands down the cleanest feeling airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. They really put effort into making this place feel like a loved home. Everywhere you look theres a nod to the theme in home! The heating/cooling in the house is seriously impressive. The customizable fireplace upstairs (be careful on the stairs!) was a dream. Stargazing at night was incredible. I missed the sunset sleeping in on the incredible bed but the sunrise was AMAZING. Direct view on the front porch! Seeing the moon through the skylight while still being comfy on the couch and watching tv was absolutely terrific. From the endless amenities to the delicious food in the area, I can’t stop praising this place. Thank you guys for the great stay!

We stayed here as we needed a stop over. The house is isolated and the terrace overlooking the river is fully private. We had a great time sitting outside and enjoying the peace. Bonus: it’s walking distance to the nearest beach. Would recommend and stay here again.

Definitely is the best place that we have been , nice location ,super clean, kitchen is beautiful, the cottage is extremely private, bathroom super clean, in summer would be great to come back ,in other words absolutely fantastic!!! 100% recommended

Well thought out space. Quiet neighborhood. Has all the essentials needed for vacation. There is a chair in the bedroom that converts into a small single bed for a child. Nice backyard space.

This cottage is the perfect getaway for rest, relaxation and a little adventure. We were so comfortable there and felt right at home. The location is fantastic- away from hustle and bustle, but close enough to explore surrounding areas and villages. The cottage is full of extra special touches that make the stay even more great. Lisa is a great host, and her communication from the moment you book to checkout is unmatched. Highly recommend.

Vincent’s place was great for my husband, myself, our baby and my parents to stay when visiting Jamesport for a wedding. Beautiful cottage, close to everything, and Vincent was very easy to communicate with. Would stay here again

April’s cozy beach cottage was perfect for my elderly parents. Everything was spotless, and although tiny, the kitchen was fully stocked with a large refrigerator and full stove, microwave etc. both the bed and the sofa were v comfortable and most importantly, April made sure there was AC in every room, even the cute porch. There’s an outdoor shower which is super convenient. You can easily walk to the beach, go to the arcade, kokomos, a crepes place and the carousel and gift shop. Very peaceful retreat. Must also mention how cheerfully it’s decorated and how spotlessly clean! Just lovely.

Our first ever stay at 'Hop Skip and Jump' really met all of our expectations and needs for the week of 8/10-8/17/24! I have never in my 70+ years of spending a summer week in Old Lyme been so enveloped with 5 star luxury while at the Beach! I would recommend this rental to any small family or a group of girlfriends! Hop

Everything about this stay was as near too perfect as possible. First Sean was proactive, quickly responded to any questions and his pre-visit communications were comprehensive. The pictures accurately describe the house but in reality, they do not do it justice. There are water views from every window. The place and views are amazing!! It is just what we were looking for, on the ocean, private and peaceful. Short drive to the village with shops and restaurants. Highly recommend for a couple who is looking for an escape, you will not be disappointed

Cheryl's place was adorable! I felt right at home in the cosy open concept living space. My mom crashed the weekend portion of the trip which was nice. My cat Mushu had a wonderful time and we even went outside. The beach was about a four minute walk for me, and a breathtaking view as you approach. Cheryl had everything necessary and mentioned. Next time I'll be sure to bring coffee filters and sugar. There were unexpected amenities too like paper towels and trash bags, and candles. There were also tons of spare toiletries like shaving cream and shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Thanks again!

The cottage was inviting and enabled family time around the fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped with everything in good working condition. The master bedroom was warm and comfortable. The bathroom suitable. The walk down to the lake, as described in the listing, was a favorite. Watching the sunset over the water was memorable and gave a nice photo op.
