A cosy, quirky, quaint, clean and comfortable self-contained studio barn conversion accessed via outside stone steps in courtyard of old stone farm buildings. Located five minutes from A55 and adjacent to Halkyn Mountain, an ideal touring base for exploring our local area and beyond, great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, the beaches and castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia or Chester/Liverpool. It is very small, but fully equipped with modern facilities with character features.

A ten minute walk away from the village of Caergwrle with its own "castle" and rail line Estyn Lodge is set in beautiful countryside and offers far reaching views over Cheshire and North Wales. There is a small private decked area to the rear with off road parking to the front. Road links to North Wales and Chester makes this an ideal location for a long or short break.

The barn was converted in 2016 to a luxury holiday let, decorated with modern and traditional touches. The barn is spacious and comfortable, with its own patio and shared use of the garden. The barn is next to our family home. We welcome families, business guests, walkers, couples and furry friends. Our wonderfully unique tiny home ‘Little Oak’ situated within an acre of woodland and on the edge of the Heswall Dales nature reserve, it really is a special place and the perfect place to explore our beautiful area with incredible walks on our doorstep. We’re an outdoorsy family of 5+3 rescue dogs and having lived in the cabin ourselves we can vouch that’s it’s as comfy and homely as it is quirky and cool.
