5/5 Stars – A Dream Stay in the Costa Rican Rainforest Our stay at this incredible Airbnb just outside La Fortuna was absolutely unforgettable. The accommodations were top-notch—clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed to blend into the lush rainforest surroundings. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, and waking up to the sounds of nature each morning was magical. The hosts were truly wonderful—warm, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. And the food—wow! We arranged for dinners to be prepared for us each evening. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining with a view of the rainforest was an experience in itself! Not having to worry about food prep and clean-up was icing on the cake. Speaking of cake, we were served the most delicious desserts! If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape surrounded by natural beauty, this is the place!

Kellys place was perfect for our family. The location is close to many of the areas local attractions and the peaceful tranquility of the deck and watching so many species of birds in the yard was incredible! We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

El lugar es muy lindo y privado , la atención fue buena , la casa estaba perfecta !!! El lugar súper tranquilo, la pasamos genial !!!

Hermosa propiedad, principalmente los exteriores de la propiedad, realmente hermoso para pasar el dia o simplemente descansar en la casita del árbol o junto al lago. Ideal para familias grandes que busquen dónde descansar y pasar el día tranquilamente.

my family of 5 enjoyed our stay. My inlaws, me, my husband and son all enjoyed the property. It was so relaxing, beautiful and clean and we found it a great base to explore La Fortuna and Arenal area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area.

Villa 2 was an amazing stay for our family of 5. Our 3 young children loved the pool and walking the property looking for birds, lizards, bugs, and the sloth. It was a perfect location to explore La Fortuna on our trip and was a great deal! Would love to return!

El lugar cumple con lo anunciado. Limpio, ordenado, cómodo para estancias cortas. Los senderos, pozas y cataratas son muy disfrutables, sin duda, para conectar con la naturaleza.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. It was extremely peaceful and enjoyable. Wish we had more time in La Fortuna. We would’ve definitely stayed there another night. Waking up to the sounds of the water and the birds singing was truly special. We even enjoyed have the cattle next door as neighbors. Even the local restaurant on the corner was really good. We love Costa Rica.

Todo fue espectacular, el lugar es precioso y cómodo, perfecto para escaparse y relajarse, Rafael y su esposa Mariela fueron súper amables y atentos, la llegada fue sencilla y con excelente comunicación!!

La casa era como se describía. Tiene una vista increíble del volcán Arenal. La atención del anfitrión fue excelente atento y educado, nos respondió en menos de 5 minutos. El jacuzzi de fácil acceso, era grande para 6 personas, muy agradable y relajante. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario, los electrodomésticos en perfecto estado, nuevos. El aseo impecable. Tiene cuarto de lavado con lavadora y secadora, esto fue muy conveniente. Amplio parqueo, hasta para 3 carros. A ocho minutos del centro en carro, pero si se desea pueden ir caminando hasta los restaurantes o supermercados cercanos. Volveríamos encantados!! Muchas gracias por el vino de bienvenida!!!

Le séjour avec Luis et sa femme a été réussi sur toute la ligne. L’espace est adorable: la décoration est belle et on s’y sent très bien en arrivant. Luis et sa femme ont été vraiment attentionnés avec moi et m’ont fait de belle suggestions d’endroits à visiter et de restaurant à essayer. Ils sont adorables. La distance de marche est courte pour se rendre à la rue principale et je m’y rendais à pied à chaque fois. Je me suis sentie en sécurité en marchant, et ce même de soir (je voyage en solo..). C’est à peine à 5 min à pied de la rue principale. Vraiment un beau coup de cœur. Je suis hyper satisfaite de mon séjour.

Amazing place! Great views. We had a problem with our shower and they sent someone to fix it right away. We stayed here to visit the cascadas celetes, it was about an hour from there.

La fortuna nunca decepciona y en esta ocasión en el hospedaje de Adrian no fue la excepción, su casa es simplemente hermosa, acogedora y con una vista increíble, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer de la estadía muy placentera. El anfitrión 10/10, con su amabilidad, claridad y manera oportuna de brindar información hizo de nuestra primer experiencia en un airbnb muy agradable, Adrián muchas gracias.

Good value, nice well maintained clean house with an electric gate, perimeter fence and multiple security cameras. Nice sheltered outdoor areas for sitting and dining on a rainy day. There is a river and mountain with tropical forest rising up behind the house. Old style electric shower head. It can be quite hot if you keep the flow of water low. Nice screened windows for good cross ventilation. Quite cool at night so no need for AC. Spent one morning at Blue Falls which was truly amazing. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, air fryer, microwave and outdoor grill. Ran out of propane for the stove but Daniela sent over a full tank within an hour.

Casa Oropendola is magical – a happy place to be happy in! Everything needed to feel comfortable and at home is right there. It is spotless, spacious and well-equipped. The (fully equipped) kitchen, with panoramic windows looking out onto a landscape of utter beauty, is amazing. Gilbert has created a garden of stunning beauty whose heliconia are constantly visited by hummingbirds. Bird lovers – you will be in paradise here! I downloaded the Merlin app for my stay here and was amazed at the species it picked up. Note reliable wifi for work meetings. Safe - could have left the door unlocked at night - not exaggerating. Potable Spring water from the kitchen tap. Gilbert is the kindest and most generous of hosts. He told me about great places to go and helped me a lot. He goes far above and beyond what I expect, doing everything in his power to make the stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. He is just a sincere and kind personality. Laguna Hule is breathtaking. Great hikes!

This was property matched the description and the pictures well. El Castillo is a more peaceful area than La Fortuna and close enough to feel like you can go back and forth without any issue. The view from the porch hot tub is stunning and makes up for the rustic amenities within the cabin. There was daily construction starting at 6:00am on the house next-door, however, so I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known that before-hand.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en este lugar. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de los días que pasamos aquí. El espacio es cómodo y acogedor, y la piscina fue un gran plus para todos. Además, el billar (pool) fue una excelente adición para la diversión en familia. ¡Sin duda, una experiencia increíble y nos encantaría volver!

Absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and breathtaking views of the volcano. Very private - no one else nearby. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and jacuzzi—it was the perfect place to relax. The location is great too, just a quick and easy 15-minute drive into downtown. Kenneth was an exceptional host—super responsive and thoughtful, even leaving fresh coconuts in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Se puede disfrutar de excelentes vistas, la es casa grande, cómoda y con áreas internas simplemente acogedoras. Las zonas verdes estaban muy cuidadas y limpias. La casa es de fácil acceso y a 15 minutos del Poás. Laura fue super atenta y rápida en responder.
