The hosts are incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring that guests feel well taken care of during their stay. Cleanliness is a priority here and everything is tidy and well-maintained. The views of the mountains were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed all the wildlife that came into the yard. We spotted many deer resting in the yard and even next to the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. If I could put more stars I would! The place was perfect for my bachelorette party. The house was beautiful and clean and so comfy! We comfortably slept with all 9 of us.

Dave and Amy have created a tremendous getaway at the solitudes. We plan on returning regularly, if possible. Our stay put Radford on a list of places to retire we loved it so much!

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend. Close to the Parkway and several places to eat from fancy to low key within a few minutes. This is an older home that made me feel like I was at grandmas. I kept waiting to find something wrong but in the end will be going back for sure.

While our primary reason for travel was swim competitions at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center, this property offered a truly exceptional and welcome respite. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the cleanliness and the overall sense of tranquility, providing a perfect counterbalance to the intensity of the competitions. It truly felt like the comforts of home, with thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. The beautiful views were a particular highlight, offering a stunning backdrop that allowed us to unwind and recharge. It was hard to leave!

10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. We had a great experience staying at Susan’s house. The house was very clean and well-maintained. Susan was very helpful and courteous allowing us 2 hours grace rime for checkout. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and convenient. Overall, we'd recommend and return in my next trip to Virginia.

The yurt was perfect! Stocked with many extras, the decor made sense, everything was clean and tidy. Jessica was easy to reach and responds quickly to questions. The property was lovely and private. The trail to the creek was nice, and many deer, birds, squirrels and rabbits around to look at, especially early morning. We'd love to stay there again and would recommend it without hesitation.

Beautiful lake views. The owner stopped by to drop off salt since we were expecting snow and ice which was very thoughtful. He also let us know we could park at the top of the driveway if needed. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Three friends and I rented this house because we were in town for a wedding. It was a great location in Floyd and the house was clean and just as described in the listing. A great place to book!!

We stayed for a week with our 2 pups and loved it! Was very private even though there are 2 houses close there was no one in either during our stay. Extremely secluded and quiet with 0 cell service - exactly what we were looking for! Looking forward to staying again and actually catching some fish! Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions, just prepare it’s a 20+ minute drive to town if you need anything but worth every penny!

Loved this cozy little cabin! We just wanted to have a place to unwind for a couple of days before continuing our long roadtrip and this home was perfect for that. The cabin was very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. Our favorite amenity is the fireplace. Loved the quiet and nature around this location. Light pollution is not bad here so you can easily snuggle on the back deck and stargaze. Rebecca and her team were absolutely fantastic. We had a small issue with the shower and Rebecca was on top of it and took great care of us. Will definitely be checking openings for this location next time we pass through.

We had a wonderful stay at Alina's home. The area was peaceful and beautiful. The home was clean and contained all the amenities you would want or need. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and baking. We will definitely be back for another visit.

This was my first time staying in an Airbnb in the mountains. I’m normally at the beach. I have never had a host go so far above and beyond what they have to do to make sure their guests are taken care of. This was one of the most relaxing places I have ever been. I literally heard two cars on the road during my whole stay. I have already added this to my favorites list. I was up there working so I will be going back when I’m not working and it’s the type of place where you stop and get your groceries on the way in and you never have to leave. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in my life! He provides bath salts for the hot tub, and then the sauna has all types of scents that you can put in your water. All the water in the lodge is springwater that comes directly from the mountain behind and I got to come home with my skin feeling so soft! If you want peace and quiet, David’s Redwood Lodge has it all! Excellent host with an excellent property!

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

So far our favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed in to date! I felt like it was super clean. It felt like they had thought of everything to help you to relax while you were there. Will definitely be coming back and saving this in our favorites!

Ashton’s place was exactly as described. The home was very clean and well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay and we really enjoyed the living space with its huge windows and large coffee table perfect for card games! The outside space was very private and quiet. We really enjoyed our time by the fire pit and in the hot tub. I wanted to note that the hot tub was incredibly clean and clear. I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s where the hot tub was less than desirable but not this one. Every person in our party of 6 commented on the cleanliness of the hot tub. Also, Ashton was very responsive when we had an issue and exceeded our expectations in remedying the situation. This home was perfect for our annual girls getaway and we will certainly be back!
