Very pretty converted barn in the heart of Kent. Completely private and self-contained providing you the ability to easily enjoy a socially distanced holiday. Take a long soak in our freestanding tub in the master bedroom; curl up on the super comfy sofa and indulge in our huge DVD collection; delve into the board game basket; enjoy the lovely bright living space; or cook up a storm in the well stocked kitchen. You enjoy the whole cottage to yourselves - with your own front door so you can come and go as you please. There's free and very quick wifi accessible throughout. The large kitchen is equipped with most of the implements you'll need for your stay, including an oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. The contents of the welcome hamper varies seasonally, but always includes fresh bread, butter, milk and lots of other delicious bits. The cupboards are stocked with cereals, tea, coffee, spreads and basic condiments. There's a big open plan dining and living space. With a super comfy sofa (please keep the dogs off though!), DVD player (with lots of things to watch) and free-sat TV (over 200 TV channels). There is a toddler high chair in the dining area but if you require one suitable for a younger child please ask and we will do our best to accommodate. There are two big kingsize double bedrooms, with an en-suite bathroom (WC, sink and shower) in both. The bigger bedroom also has a freestanding bath within the room for a luxurious soak. Towels, cosy robes and bubble bath provided. There's a lovely garden which you're welcome to enjoy during your stay (as is your dog), complete with a table and chairs to eat outside if the weather allows! If you do bring your dog however please pick up after them! You enjoy the whole cottage to yourself - with your own front door and key so you can come and go as you please. I'm very responsive to airbnb messages and texts, so do contact me on either with any questions. I'll always be in touch prior to your arrival to make sure you're clear on check in process and directions. We'll be there regularly during your stay for anything you need and recommendations, but there's also a folder full of information in the cottage. The Old Barn is situated in the lovely village of Great Chart with two fantastic pubs just a minutes walk away. It's surrounded by wonderful countryside, historic buildings, great shopping, brilliant beaches, great places to eat & vineyards aplenty. Great Chart is less than 10 minutes drive from Ashford International Train Station where there’s usually plenty of taxis available. Trains leave approximately every half an hour to and from London St Pancras and take just 37 minutes (there are slower trains to other London stations too). You can also board a train at Ashford to Paris, which takes only 2 hours. The village is 10 minutes from the M20, there is parking for one car at the cottage, and plenty more free parking on the Street. We are also 30 minutes drive to Folkestone which is just a 35 minute channel crossing to Calais, and 45 minutes to Dover where the ferry departs for there also, so the perfect location if you’re breaking up the drive to France! There is free and very quick wifi available throughout the property. Our standard check in time is anytime after 4pm, and check out is by 10am on the day you leave. If you'd like to check in earlier or check out later, this is sometimes possible, but there is an additional fee of £10 per check in/out which is payable in cash on arrival. Sadly we can't always offer early check in or late check out, so please contact me to confirm availability. All early check ins or late check outs have to be agreed with me prior to arrival. Devine View, Overlooking Sea and Folkestone Harbour Arm

Marvel at the stunning 180 degree sea view, observe the fishing boats leave the harbour and later return with their catch. Admire and enjoy the sleek and comfortable retro interior decor with Art Deco touches. Watch sea birds over a coffee with high-powered binoculars, cook up a hearty breakfast, then recharge the batteries with a Clifftop, harbour-side or beachfront walk. Arguably the finest view in Folkestone, a panorama to behold, watch the sun rise and set over the English Channel. Guests of Devine View have access to the entire apartment on an exclusive basis, there is a communal stair way serving the middle apartment and Devine View apartment. When possible we like to greet our guests and give a brief introduction to the apartment, we live within a short walk so are generally available should guests need assistance or advice. Devine View sits on the popular East Cliff over looking Folkestone Harbour Arm. A five-minute walk reaches the harbour area, or beautiful cliff top walks are on the doorstep. A wide selection of eateries and bars lie within easy reach. Wear Bay Road is within a residential area with free unrestricted on street parking. A bus stop is located for daytime services (not including Sunday’s) within yards of the property, allowing guests to travel to town centre via the harbour/seafront. The harbour/seafront is only five minutes downhill walk or via steps. Red Arrows display and much more this coming Sunday 30th June. Watch them from the balcony! There is free unrestricted car parking opposite the apartment. The apartment has WiFi connected.

The Seagull’s Rest in The Creative Quarter

This special place is between the oldest part of Folkestone called The Bayle and The Creative Quarter on The Old High Street. Also it is a five minute walk to the Harbour Arm and the beach. The apartment is on the second floor of a grade 2 listed building which until 1973 was a butchers run and owned by the Taylor family. Beach house in Dungeness

Beautiful Dungeness house right on the beach with ever changing views of the sea all year round. The house incorporates an original train carriage and the living space is open plan. The well equipped kitchen includes a generous dining table and chairs, which also looks out across the beach. There are two double bedrooms within the carriage as well as a shower room. An ideal place to explore Dungeness as well as discovering the wider area including Rye, Folkestone and the Romney Marsh.

Take a stroll along Hythe's beautiful beach, or a short wander to the High Street and soak up the cafe culture. Relax in the lounge and take in the sea views or prepare a delicious meal in the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The much-loved farmhouse table comfortably sits 6. Fast wifi and virgin TV, a large collection of DVD titles.

The Turret- the best view in Folkestone

The Turret is a completely unique, unusual, quirky, self-contained Grade II listed apartment, at the top of The Priory, in the oldest part of Folkestone accessed by a private period internal spiral staircase leading up into a lead lighted atrium which overlooks the historic church of St.Mary and St.Eanswythe; beautifully furnished open plan living/dining area with stunning 180 degree views over Folkestone and the English Channel.

The Yard Rye

The Yard is a two-bed interior-designed cottage in the citadel of the beautiful Cinque Port town of Rye. It is situated down a cobbled passageway next to a pretty tea room. PLEASE NOTE – The property can sleep up to two adults in the master bedroom and one child in the single, with a pull-out camp bed if needed for an extra child. We also have a travel cot for an infant. Please be aware we have a steep staircase.
