She has her own large sundeck, sunken outdoor bath and cinema, sun recliners, fire pit & far reaching rural views. You can just relax in the rural retreat or explore the local area, where you will find, wild swimming, hiking in the Black Mountains, Forest of Dean or the scenic Wye Valley. The wooden cabin, Haven on the Hill has been hand built on an elevated platform with views looking over the Forest of Dean. A private and secluded dwelling situated in our grounds near our home. We love the local walks, views and the quintessential little Cotswolds high street only minutes walk from the cottage.

The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pubThe Ostrich Inn and town. We are close to all ammenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

If you’re looking for that special place look no further. A natural sanctuary in one Britains most famous oak forests, bordering a RSPB reserve. Nagshead Retreat is hidden down a FE track. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy nature and tranquillity, Ideally located to explore all the attractions that the Forest and Wye valley have to offer. Wether it be mountain biking, canoeing, hiking or just a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle, the Retreat provides it all.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.
