I really don’t know where to start with all the joys of this experience. From the moment you pull into the covered, and paved outdoor park and play area, you know it’s different. Jackie is not a robot hosting you in a cookie cutter home. She is someone who really knows the area and what you need to have the most relaxing stay. You have everything you need. I can’t tell you how many times, my husband and I would look at each other and say, “OMG!, it has this or it has that!” The saloon and generous welcome gift is something I never experienced renting a home. The home is very comfortable with views that immediately set your soul at ease. The outdoor space is where we spent 80% of our time. From the beach to the porch, you have every luxury you need to unwind and reconnect in the salty breeze. Sunrise and sunset photos are stunning. The best part is that my dog Mallie, who is a member of our family, was not only permitted but spoiled with amenities just for her. You deserve to book it.

The house was in near new condition and very well appointed with everything needed and more. The location is a short walk to beach access and is located on the bike/walk path. Our group loves the area and Patrick's place was perfect and super clean. Patrick was a great communicator and we appreciated that so much. I highly recommend to other guests.

We loved the place! Large rooms. Perfect for family gathering. Lots of awesome decorations. Everything you would need for cooking. Comfortable beds and furniture in living area. Nice open concept in living/dining area. Communication was wonderful and we were given terrific recommendations for places to eat. Hate to even mention the storage units next door, but want to be honest in my description. Didn’t bother us and seem to be well maintained. No activity over there during our stay except someone doing yard maintenance which I saw as a good sign. Great outdoor space at the house. Street in front of house has no sidewalks, but a block away was a little picnic area-(although not necessary to use as the house has a nice deck area, back yard with grill and places to eat outside and/or under cover) -and just beyond that is an area where you can walk along a sandy stretch up to the bridge connecting the mainland to St. George’s Island. I can’t say enough good things about it!!!!

Our already special visit became x-tra special among the sweet swaying pine trees of this shaded lovely home, a bird-watchers’ & hiker’s delight. The décor is fresh & enjoyable, kitchen is easy to work in & large screened porch is like an enclosed living room. Jennifer is accommodating, granting early check-in as there were no prev. guests.We enjoyed walking to both the St. George Sound non-swimming waters, lovely to look at from the convenient front porch perches, as much as we liked following the nearby public easement path to the Gulf Shore, where we found empty shells to wash & add to the glass jar collection on a side table. The bed is comfortable, bathrooms are extra clean & views out the many windows are a pleasure. As we toured the island & returned to this wooded retreat we realized how solidly built, with extra features of endurance, this house was created for the family who obviously lovingly cares for it.

This place was perfect! Some friends and I went to have a nice real break and everything was perfect! The beach is so easy to get to and the other restaurants and beach access points were an easy walk or quick ride. The house had everything we needed and it was so nice to have the back porch and the pretty views!!

Nicole was super responsive and very accommodating for our group! The house was clean and stocked with all we needed. Great location for our fishing crew!

Beautiful home. We loved all the marine life we were able to find. The only complaints we had was there wasn’t a grill and the pool not being in the neighborhood. Overall a great week. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, peaceful, on the river. The neighbors were friendly (they had a cat on a leash!). The free streaming services on the TV were a plus. The only issue was the lack of end tables for lighting and remotes, etc.

Such a cute place for a vacation! We all loved the pool and the fenced-in patio, it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys spending time outside. The deck facing the beach is also a beautiful spot to sunbathe and relax after a swim. We had a great time, and Michelle was very helpful and responsive whenever we had questions.

I took my mom and family to SGI for a Birthday trip and we loved our stay! The house is under renovation currently, but nothing related to the renovations got in our way. It was very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We really loved having the heated pool since the weather was still cool.

We had the best weekend getaway. This place is amazing and I can’t wait to go back! It was just as described and everything was perfect. The shower is THE BEST!!! we loved the ability to bring our dog and enjoy a slow paced weekend to be together as a family. Thank you!

First off, we love St. George so a trip there is always well worth it! The island is perfect if you really want some rest and relaxation, super peaceful and never crowded compared to other beaches. Secondly, Craig is WONDERFUL to work with, he was so helpful, responsive, and proactive about making our stay as easy and smooth as possible. Super thankful for him, and will definitely book with him the next time we come back to SGI!

Carrie’s place was beautiful and spotless! There was anything and everything available that you could possibly need…lots of beach towels, beach chairs, floats, nice beach cart, and the house was stocked with anything you need! The beach was less than a 5 minute walk away. The house felt private because it was surrounded by trees and shrubs. Carrie’s local recommendations were spot on and very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had an issue with the pool and dishwasher and Shellie reponded and corrected the issues in a timely manner. We rented it for a week and had family members come when able and we were all very comfortable. The back porch is wonderful. We already booked the Happy Habiscus for 9 days next year. Can't wait!

Evacuated from idalia after learning we would not have power for weeks. We found refuge there last minute and the time between booking and checkin was within hours of each other. Very responsive very kind. The home was perfect. Lots of room. The separate pool house was ideal for our teenagers. I was so grateful just for power but this home far exceeded that.

The house was great. Also loved the tropical five minute walk to the beach. The house was very clean, quiet, very private, no bright lights anywhere and so comfortable. Hosts were so helpful and friendly. The house was also very well supplied. Thank you for a great stay.

This is our 2nd time staying at Michael’s place.. we love the location and ocean front.. I can’t say enough about the area . Love the front porch and the privacy the place offers. Will def be back as soon .

If you’re looking for a private, peaceful vacation this house is perfect. Very quiet area just steps from the beach. Lovely home with a beautiful view of the Gulf. Very accommodating hosts and always responsive. Would definitely stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay—this is a fantastic place! Every inch of the home feels fresh, with stylish and interesting finishes that give it a modern, welcoming vibe. It was super comfortable and had everything I needed, from thoughtful touches to well-stocked essentials. I especially loved relaxing on both the front and back porches, and the entryway made a great first impression. The host was responsive and everything was exactly as described. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place.

Kevin & Stephanie were fantastic hosts! Upon arrival, the rental was clean and tidy. The bed, bedding, and pillows were so soft and comfortable. The two mini units kept the rooms comfortable. Clean towels were provided for the bathroom and for the pool. The couch was comfy and the kids loved being separated from us on the sofa bed rather than side by side like hotels. The pool is beautiful, the hot tub was very large and warm, and fishing was just a few steps away at the end of the road. A few dolphins ran the fish off while we were fishing. We absolutely loved this rental and the hosts. St. George Island is a new family favorite! Thank you Kevin & Stephanie, we will see you again soon!

This place is underrated, the pictures don’t do it justice. Huge porch off the back of house, fire pit in the back yard and the most beautiful inlet off the main river with amazing access to the ocean/river, & surrounding estuaries. Long dock takes you right out to the estuary and less than 5 minutes from boat landings. Will not stay at another place when we visit Carrabelle. Great all the way around.

Julie was exceptionally helpful and hospitable as we stayed in their home during hurricane evacuation. It is a lovely and very comfortable place. Furnishings and linens are high end and tasteful. Both my friend and I slept very well in the beds. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. It's a short drive to the gulf, to grocery store and a few local restaurants. If you like seafood, this is the area for the best!! I would highly recommend this Air Bnb if you're looking for a place in the big bend or Carrabelle. Pet Friendly was a definite plus as well!

What a gem Helen’s property is!!! From the beautiful gardens, which I meditated and did yoga in each morning before dawn to the deck over looking the ocean, to watching sunrise with our coffee, we couldn’t have asked for a more rejuvenating space. The private beach is just that. We only saw 2 people on it the whole week and that was in the evening during low tide. We frolicked in the water daily as if we hadn’t a care in the world. The public beach (a very short drive down the road) is still very quiet, but there are a few people to stop and chat with about the dolphins showing off in the water and nature’s beauty. Helen is so kind and sweet, responding to our needs but never hovering. Puppy, who is friendly and calm, meandered over to say hi daily, and Plywood (a beautiful cat) would stop as if to say hi but never come too close. This is a magical space that we will forever hold in our hearts.
