We absolutely loved our stay! The house was so cozy, and we especially enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub—such a perfect way to relax. The views were stunning, making the whole experience even more special. There were thousands of Asian lady beetles, but it is expected this time of year in the Adirondacks and we just vacuumed them up. The walk down to the front door was a bit tricky with the snow, but we managed just fine. We already can’t wait to return!

Been staying at various places in Lake Placid over the years. We had 6 adults and 2 infants. The place was exactly what I was looking for. It was cold outside and staying in the house for an entire day was very relaxing and comfortable. The fireplace was amazing! The hot tub was also a plus! Kitchen was well stocked and we were cooking daily! We had a good laugh guessing how many “bear” items were in the house. I challenge all future guests to take a guess. Make sure to include all bedrooms and bathrooms =) All in, it is a great place for family and friends to stay, we look forward to coming back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely beautiful with a wonderful view. Everything was very clean and had everything you could need. The house had more than enough room for many people and plenty of things to do. We loved the hot tub and the view of the mountains. Thank you for a wonderful stay we hope to stay again!

This home felt new and very comfortable. We loved the views and the fire pit and hot tub, and other attention to detail. The cabin is beautiful and a perfect fit for our family! We really needed very little to enjoy a little family vacation. Close to things to do and places to see, yet private and beautiful too!

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our dog immediately fell in love with the space both inside and out. It was great to have a place to stay with our dog where we didn't have to worry about others around (our dog is a bit reactive to other people), and we could easily go outside and immerse ourselves in quiet, peaceful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely have to consider staying again if we come back up to visit the Adirondacks in the future!

Just Book this place! My review follows all the past positive reviews. This place is awesome for a winter hangout with all the privacy you want and a short scenic drive to Lake Placid. The views from the front deck are beautiful and the hot tub on the back deck is a great place to unwind after a playful day in the snow. So - just book this place if you are into enjoying life in the Adirondack Mountains. Thanks Richard & Jocelyn!

Great house at a great location. House was nice and warm despite the 0 degree weather with high winds. Driveway was maintained clear during 15” of snow. Great sledding on the property, ice fishing on the lake and cross country skiing on the rail trail that passes the house. Main floor and upper floor were great, lower level needs some TLC and the two lower level beds were very uncomfortable. No problem with the rest of the rooms. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to gather on the main floor. Could use a larger table, plenty of room in the house for our group of 13 but not a big enough table for us to all eat at together (kitchen island provided most of the needed extra spots). Overall a great place at a great location.

Perfect little get away cabin tucked in the woods. Easy, walkable access to the lake with beautiful views. Hosts were welcoming, helpful and informative from the start. Would love to stay here again!

Wonderful stay at white pine camp. The house is so much better than the photos, space is clean and clutter free. Photos make the camp look way more dated than it is. Very spacious. Could not find anything to complain about definitely looking forward to returning in the future

Always a great experience staying at one of Richard’s cabins! Attentive and caring hosts. Promptly responsive and always considerate. The place was clean and comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and organized. Parking area has plenty of space - great for a larger vehicle. The deck overlooking the river is always my favorite feature. Love the view, and of course the local wildlife - resident geese, ducks, and songbirds, schools of fish, deer, squirrels, and chipmunks. This time we even spotted an eagle!! Looking forward to renting this space again soon!!

Fantastic spot! Meticulously maintained cabin that has everything you need. We were two families with kids and it worked out nicely. ‘Went in the winter, would be happy to come back again in the winter or in the summer or any season, it would be lovely any time of year!

Great place, 5 star in every way. We stayed here in Feb 2025 as a family of 5 with 3 small kids and a dog. The home was as described, spotless and very cozy with everything you could possibly need. The host was also very accommodating and had everything ready for us to arrive late at night in the middle of a blizzard; they provided great local recommendations and quickly answered our many questions without seeming like we were bothering them. I’ve been a host for 10+ years and this is what an experience should be.

We LOVED our stay at Little Nell’s cabin and will definitely be back! It was cozy and in a great location for all the outdoor activities we wanted. The bed was super comfy and the lake right outside our door was so beautiful to wake up to. We enjoyed hiking up a short mountain right from the cabin. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Timothy's cabin. It was peaceful, private, and cozy despite the freezing temperatures outside. Timothy gave great instructions on how to get to the cabin which were greatly appreciated due to heavy snowfall. The road and driveway were well plowed in advance of our arrival. We enjoyed two days at our favorite ski mountain, Titus, visited the sites at Lake Placid, saw the ice palace at Saranac Lake, and experienced Wild Lights at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. Though off the beaten path, the cabin is also not far from Walmart, Price Chopper, and restaurants. My husband enjoyed the fly tying desk and we hope to return in warmer weather for some fishing in the beautiful river right outside the cabin door. Thank you, Timothy for a renting your cabin - we had a great vacation!

Billy's cabin is an amazing place nestled in Middle Saranac Lake! We loved the peacfullness of the wilderness, the view of the lake, the clarity of the night sky, and the loon population! The boat access-only cabin overlooks the lake with a large deck to enjoy incredible ADK views. Around camp there is a fire pit overlooking the lake, a few small watercrafts, an outhouse, and a dock where we parked our small fishing boat with an outboard motor. In the cabin there is a kitchen, sitting area, main bedroom, full bathroom, and a lofted sleeping area. The cabin operates off-grid, but Billy has a clear manual that covers everything you need (hot water/shower included!). We loved it and will be back again!

Todd was very responsive and accommodating. The location of the cabins is a short drive to both Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. There is a nice biking/running/walking trail close by. It was a true cabin experience, making it a memorable and unique holiday. We would stay there again.

If your planning on doing any group activity in the high peaks area, this is the spot to stay. Located right off the main trail head to Algonquin and Marcy peaks. Place was cozy, clean, and much larger than I originally expected. Great experience all around.

my languages are weak in describing Pam's cozy cabin along the lake, it is right on the beach, yes you hear it right, there is a sand beach made along the lake, not sure how the host managed to do this, however too much fun along the lake side watching the foliage across the lake from sunrise to sunset with your loved ones beside a firepit; Pam is such a kind and great host always responsive to my questions even accommodating my request to check out a bit late due to a global VTC meeting assignment, very much appreciated on my wide, will recommend to friends for sure :)

The cabin was beautiful and perfectly rustic. The setting was gorgeous for the fall and the property and trails were fun to explore. It would’ve been nice to take a hot shower after we climbed Cascade Mountain, but the portable heaters that were provided along with a big, cozy fire in the fireplace warmed us up. It snowed this morning before we left and it was a perfect way to end our short visit!

Great place to stay. It's our favorite airbnb we've stayed at so far. It's simple, quiet, private, and very clean.

I've been to MANY airbnbs over the years. For work and play, and Michael's place leads the pack. It is just an incredible cabin in the most amazing spot you can imagine. Just a short boat ride from shore, but in a whole other world. Peaceful doesn't do it justice. It's right on the water, with access to a row boat and canoe, on a lake that is virtually untouched. We had some weather, but loved hunkering down when we couldn't be on the water. A great little wood burning stove to keep you warm and company while reading a book. A very well fit out kitchen. Comfy bed. What can I say. The place is magic. I caught 2 very nice small mouth! We will be back.

Perfect spot to enjoy everything the area had to offer. Walking distance to restaurants & beautiful mountain and lake views. Hosts had great recommendations for local spots!
