Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Mick’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend with my son! Everything was clean and tidy, the decor was lovely and the directions were all very straightforward. The view of the lake from the porch swing was beautiful, we spent a lot of the time parked right there. It was very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. All of the amenities of Bernard’s Landing were great for entertaining a 9 year old as well. We visited the indoor pool and the beach and enjoyed the restaurant. We were a little disappointed to find that the outdoor pools weren’t open yet as it was in the 80’s, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

The Condo was very comfortable and the view and closeness to the lake made for a perfect location. We also enjoyed the walking path to the restaurant on the property.

Our quick escape before picking our son up from NC State was relaxing and so enjoyable. Spent a lot of time out on the lake. Temperatures were warmer than the usual April weather, we both have great tans to prove it! We were very comfortable at your place. Perfectly located off of Scruggs gave us the ability to get to our favorite restaurants (Napolis is the best and only a quick walk away). New to us was Black water cafe, totally awesome! We will go there again when we return. We were able to spend time with family that have recently moved to the lake. Our little escape has re energized us, filled our hearts with joy and great memories on the lake. Your place had everything we needed. We were very comfortable. We enjoyed the decor, the layout, everything about your little slice of heaven on the lake. Who could ask for anything more. Thank you sincerely.

You will be thrilled if you stay at Patricia’s condo. Amazing views of the lake! Comfortable bed, and she really puts wonderful touches throughout her place to make you feel at home. We will definitely be booking this condo again!

Top-notch hospitality! Alan & Corrine have their customer service and communication down to a science. They are incredibly responsive, proactive, and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Before my stay, they even sent a detailed digital guide covering everything—check-in instructions, appliance usage, local recommendations, important contacts, the check-out process, and more! It made everything seamless and stress-free. The space itself was exactly what I was looking for—a peaceful retreat with a lovely view, yet still close to cute shops and yummy restaurants. I wanted a place where I could truly unwind, get creative, and recharge. I brought my watercolors and a record player, hoping to find an inspiring space & this was perfect for that! I honestly don’t think they could have done a better job. Every host should take notes from these two! Thanks so much! :)

We had a lovely stay at John’s condo, the view is beautiful! We enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. SML is such a relaxing place, there isn’t a ton of “stuff” to do and I think that’s why we like it so much. It really forces you to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding areas. We did the baby goat snuggles activity that is suggested and it was so much fun and such a great family experience, we highly recommend it! Thank you John, we look forward to booking again in the future 🙂

Ben and Dana, Thank you so much for letting me stay at your beautiful condo. We had very productive meetings and get togethers with my group. Ben was so great at communicating and was a gracious host. The condo is so lovely and we hope to be back in the near future.

The unit was very comfortable and clean. It was well equipped and had a beautiful view of the lake. The ammenites were numerous and easily within walking distance. We very much enjoyed the tennis & pickle ball courts, as well as the pool and exercise room. The beach was close enough that we could carry our kayaks and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling on the lake many times. The water was very clear and clean with an abundance of wildlife to view. We also enjoyed numerous local restaurants and activities, to include visiting an alpaca farm. Last, but not least, the hosts were amazing!!! They were very communicative and helpful from the time of booking, right through the end of our stay. I had several questions ahead of our trip, and each was answered promptly and completely. I even needed helped with something during our stay, and they were right there once again to help and make our vacation a most memorable time. My husband and I had a spectacular time during our stay! The place was cozy and utterly peaceful. Along with the breathtaking view of the lake, as chefs we enjoyed the great kitchen lol. Katie is super responsive and even allowed us to come back and look for my husband’s wedding band. Thank God we found it. I cannot wait to come back. I think we found our SML vacation spot forever lol. 10/10 recommend to others.
