We enjoyed our stay very much! Definitely our go-to place now for all our travels to Tryon for horse shows at TIEC! Wonderful villa, beautiful property, amazing hosts, less than 10 mins from TIEC!

Loved our love stay here as it felt like you a living in Appalachian safari because lots of deer, mink, peacocks, rabbits, eagles and more visited the property regularly. The river and surroundings offer the feeling or remote tranquility but the super fast skyline internet and town 5 minute drive away mean you are still close to civilization.

Thank you to Gloria and Lorraine for everything! My family of four loved the accomodations! Everything was neat, clean, and the location was quiet and peaceful. Their communication was friendly and quick. I couldn't ask for more, and would definitely recommend this listing! I will have my family stay here again if needed.

Sheila is a true gem! We evacuated from hurricane Milton and she showed true compassion. She went above and beyond with hospitality and communication. I would highly recommend this Airbnb in big canoe. What a fantastic escape from all the stress at home! We will be back and we will request Shelia’s cabin.

Great place for everyone. Love that is dog friendly. Cozy and quiet. Super nice host. Brandi came to greet me at my arrival and chat with us for a while.🥰They responds to messages in less than 2 min😊. Thanks for everything Michael and Brandi it was an awesome experience. The accommodations and appliances were new and modern. Excellent bathroom set up with double vanities and a big shower. The view from the living room and bedroom was just spectacular!!! Mountain Air Resort community was first class. The road was paved and maintained very well. Beautiful landscaping everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return to this very home in the future!!!

Ron and Martha were the perfect hosts for our family's Thanksgiving weekend. The house is stunning and the views breathtaking. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen which provided everything new needed to cook all weekend. Ron and Martha provided detailed directions and instructions for our arrival and parking and were super responsive to our questions. We look forward to being able to stay here again!

The most incredible Airbb and host! Such a beautiful home to enjoy for our girls trip, it was so hard to leave! Felt like we were in the mountains yet 12 minutes from downtown. So peaceful and private and panoramic views! Simply breathtaking! This home had several outdoor areas to enjoy with our group of eight and lots of places to gather inside and be all together in the same room. Home is so well furnished with such comfortable surroundings and generous amenities! Toiletries, beach towels for hot tub, yoga mats and weights, coffee/tea bar, and arcade room. I cant say enough positive things about this home. Planning on returning with couples! Christina was so attentive and pro-active. She even ordered some games for our group to enjoy for our stay. Code names, Five Crowns and Rummikub. Communication was suburb and details to operate things in house are clearly labeled and well thought out. Thank you for letting us enjoy!

This house is perfect for a large family. There was plenty of space to spread out! There were at least 2 portable cribs to use. Air mattresses if you needed them. TVs and plenty of lounging areas! Kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked! It was a huge hit for our family gathering of 3 siblings and their families and grandparent’s!

We stayed for four nights. The views from this home are more incredible than any picture could capture. We stay in many rental homes when we travel. This is the most well appointed kitchen we’ve ever used. Communication with the host was easy and rarely needed. Lots of great instructions on how to do things around the house. And the space was just simply beautifully decorated. I wanted to spend time with my family in a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. This home did just that! Thank you for sharing your home.

This place was nothing less than AMAZING! Even though pics are posted to view before booking, seeing this place with your own eyes is breathtaking. Melissa’s place is great for large gatherings. We had a party of 17 and there was more than enough room. No one was piled on top of each other, each cottage is equipped with a full kitchen and large TVs. The bathrooms make you never want to return home and face reality. Melissa was super kind and even allowed us to check out later than scheduled. These cottages are so serene, the scenery brings a certain peace and calmness that’s indescribable. My family and I are already looking to book again this holiday season. Melissa thank you for being so helpful, accommodating and kind to us. We all appreciate it more than you know. Thanks again for everything.

Such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Waves of nostalgia in every nook and cranny of this house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed admiring the pictures, decorations, books and furniture! Preparing meals in the kitchen was an absolute treat. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped kitchen. The serving platters, cooking utensils, cookware and glassware were enjoyed by all! The home was clean and so peaceful. The fireplace was just icing on the cake! Everyone enjoyed our family trip and we hope to return!

This is our second stay at Aramis's home. It was just as lovely the second time around. We were in town for a horse show at TIEC. The rental is comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Aramis is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and goes the extra mile providing snacks and breakfast foods. We will definitely stay again!

Veronica’s house was absolutely perfect for a large group get away. The views of the mountains from the house were gorgeous, the fire pit out back and the huge back deck was great for spending the evening at the house instead of even having to go out anywhere. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. It’s also less than 15 min from downtown Asheville! Veronica is very responsive and even had me call her when I got there to give me instructions on everything in the house. I will be back!

It was good overall but it would be way better after construction would be done and I do not recommend grandparents to go because of walking on the hills, but other than that everything was amazing!! Place was clean and tidy, had hood communication with Hollie and the scenery and weather really helped us made the trip better..

From the other reviews, it seems like everyone gets a different unit based on how the resort fulfills the reservation. That being said, our family of four (two little kids 5&7) LOVED staying at the Westgate resort. We used the waterpark each day, and that helped make this AirBNB totally worth it. We also stayed on top of the mountain...which was amazing. Played mini-golf for free. Quick access to Gatlinburg for dinner and to the mountains for the hikes. Clean units, kids slept on sofa couch, we had private bedroom. Kitchen to make pack lunches for hikes. Large bathroom. Just be sure to say 'no' to the 'free lunch and tour' so you aren't stuck on a long sales pitch. Units do connect to each other via connecting door, but thankfully we had quiet neighbors and didn't hear them.
