The Bird Hide is 5 minutes walk from Freshwater Bay, even closer to footpaths to the Downs and the local village via the SSSI trail.

‘Smugglers’ quirky hideaway

Smugglers was once an old stable attached to the back of our house. It’s still linked to the house, but is self contained. It’s unusual shapes and fixtures make it very quirky and would suit people that like something a bit different. There is a main double bed and a mezzanine deck ideal for relaxing on. The little kitchen allows you to stay in and cook for yourself if you fancy a cozy night in. The courtyard in front of smugglers can be used for bbq’s if the weather is kind!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

Beau, Brambles Chine, Colwell Bay - WiFi & The Hut

Beau and Bay are two semi detached holiday bungalows, which have been completely refurbished. Each offering glimpses of The Solent and within a stones throw of the beautiful Colwell bay, with its beaches and eateries. The restaurant The Hut, is a 15-20 minute walk away.
