Karina’s cottage was just as she described it. It was warm and inviting and we felt at home as soon as we walked in through the door. There was absolutely nothing that we needed! We didn’t bring a dog, but Karina has everything you could possibly need if you did bring your furry companion. The beds were comfortable and sitting by the wood stove at night was heaven. The views from the cottage were incredible! We are hoping to go back in the summer and would recommend this place to anyone.

The host, Marielle, clearly has an eye for detail and a genuine desire to create a perfect getaway for their guests. Every corner of the cabin felt considered. We particularly appreciated the games and the local suggestions. It's these small touches that elevate a stay from good to exceptional. The cabin itself was exactly as described, if not even more inviting in person. It was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was excellent and considerate. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our visit! The house was cozy and the location on the lake was amazing. Our kids enjoyed swimming, canoeing, and making s’mores over the beachside fire pit. There was some rain during our trip, but the house was so comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in - we had a great evening hanging out and playing games. It was nice having a lot of space in the bedrooms and the living room. My 9-year old was also happy and excited to sleep in a bunk bed for the first time :) Thanks for a great visit!

Stanley was very friendly and helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It is minutes from the beach and close to town for anything we needed. It was quite and relaxing. Our stay at Mark’s cabin was nothing short of amazing! The cabin was cozy, spotless, and perfectly stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Located just outside of St Paul, it offered the perfect balance of seclusion and access to nature. One of the highlights of our trip was the incredible ice fishing nearby! The lake was easily accessible, and we had a fantastic time spending the days out on the ice. And as if that wasn’t enough, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the cabin’s fire pit. Watching them dance across the sky was an unforgettable experience. Mark was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Check-in was a breeze, and he even provided firewood for a daily fee so we did not have to source our own. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning scenery, excellent ice fishing, and the chance to see the Northern Lights, this cabin is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing private cabin. The surroundings are beautiful and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet! Lots of space for the us to explore the outdoors and return to the warmth of the wood burning stove. Loved it!

James and I were working in the Smoky Lake County and came across this gem. Patrick & Debbie's place was a true home away from home for us during our two weeks stay. It's a beautiful woodsy back yard, lots of trees and privacy. We enjoyed hanging by the fire pit after a long day at work. Our walks around the lake and neighbourhood were tranquil. Their home was well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfy, nice big thick towels. They were quick to respond to us and easy to communicate with. It is quiet and peaceful location and we highly recommend staying here.
