Great walks and cycle rides from the door. A car is essential. Small self-contained annexe, attached to the main house, with own entrance from side of main house. Entrance hall, one main bed-sitting room with table for eating/ working, own shower room and kitchen. Use of EV charging point by arrangement. There is no TV.

Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

This is a self-contained annexe with private off-street parking and its own entrance. Located on a quiet lane with little traffic (apart from the odd horse on it's way up to Shotover!) Newly renovated, the studio is fresh, sunny and well equipped with its own kitchen and shower room.

The Pool House

Relax and reset at the Pool House. The Pool House provides a quiet location where you can relax away from the world. Swim in our pool, heated during the warmer months. During the colder months enjoy a cold plunge, beneficial for body and mind. Ease your aches and muscles in the hot tub. Please note: you are using the pool and hot tub at your own risk, there is no life guard! Please watch children and non swimmers in the pool and hot tub at all times.

We are situated in the pretty rural village of Shabbington, just outside the market town of Thame, and surrounded by the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire countryside. This is a great location for the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University and Oxford Brookes.
