Forest Lodge is the perfect get away for large groups. Huge kitchen, well equipped with anything you would need to feed an army. And great, cosy lounge. We were worried the bedrooms would be cold, but by following the instructions all went well and we were all toastie… no snow for us this time, but we look forward to coming back again next year! Our family of four had a great one-night stay at Crystal's place. The three bedrooms were lovely and we really appreciated the washing machine. Everything was clean and Crystal was a great communicator. It was a perfect launching point for heading to the Hooker Valley Track the next morning (~40 min drive). Thanks for a great stay!

This place was gorgeous with beautiful scenery! Everyone in our group wanted to stay longer and will look to return to do so. Such a great place for families or individuals to switch off and appreciate nature.

We would recommend this place to anyone staying the night in Lake Tekapo! They have the best views all around, front view is of Lake Tekapo and back view is a golf course. The living area is very spacious perfect for a family trip. The beds and bathroom were very comfy and clean too.

Our family of 7 stayed here for 3 nights and we wished we had booked for longer! It was one of our fav places to stay at on our whole trip - stunning views, comfortable rooms, super easy check in and out, clean, quiet … and one of the most well equipped kitchens for cooking anything imaginable (they even have a rice cooker and a Korean BBQ pan)! On a clear night you can go to the back of the house and see the Milky Way! Highly recommend and would come back again!

A fabulous home and each room having a bathroom was a real bonus. Very easy instructions for our stay, the home was very clean and a handy location to the shops, restaurants and lake. Highly recommend

Shane’s place is in the perfect location if you are after some quiet nature time. There are no cafes, supermarkets or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Bring your own food and enjoy the accommodation.

Very good accomodation for large member of families who travelling together. We travel as 3 families with total 12 pax. Actually it has more capacity than that. Overall our staycation was very good and their amenites are very well maintained as well.

The place is amazing with a starview balcony. The rooms are clean and cozy and the host is extremely helpful and even left us a bottle of wine with a welcome note. Felt totally at home and welcomed. Recommended!

Lindsey’s BnB was perfect for our wedding weekend and for plenty of guests Lots of lovely room inside and a wonderful big lawn and garden with comfortable outside setting to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend

This home is in a beautiful and serene setting. It was about 1.5h from Christchurch airport and was the perfect antidote to the craziness of flying. At night, the only thing we could hear was the breeze and the gentle rain. I’d love to stay for a week. Annie was incredibly friendly and the welcome basket with homemade granola was tops. The basket also included potato chips made from the potatoes grown on the property! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and my kid got to try Milo for the first time.

Thanks so much, Steve. This is an absolute gem of a place, you couldn't want for more! Very cosy with the huge fireplace, every kitchen utensil you could possibly need, spacious rooms.
