Super cute and cozy! The cottage is decorated so well. Amazing bathroom- the tub and shower are to die for. It was so great to watch tv outside by the hot tub and fireplace. We also had plenty of privacy with the automatic sunshade which was an excellent added touch. Loved the blackout curtains too! Comfy couch and linens as well. Watching the deer frolic was the absolute best. Would recommend this place anytime of year!

We liked the location away from the city. The hot tub and outside fireplace and seating area was great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Did not like the 10am checkout not a big fan of this!! We would stay again if we get the chance!

Great quiet getaway! Less than 15 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg. The evenings were quiet and enjoyed the hot tub. In the mornings, deer feed is dropped in the driveway street so able to enjoy the morning visitors while drinking coffee on the covered patio in rocking chairs. Definitely recommend booking this gem!

We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We wished we had booked one more night. The home was very clean and comfortable.

Great accommodations with many nearby restaurants and stores. Being able to walk to most places was convenient. Host communication was perfect. We would stay here again on our next visit.

This was by far the best air bnb experience. Everything about this place is perfect. Our cottage was so comfortable, smelled great, very clean, even had the hottub on and ready to go for us. We got to feed the longhorns and enjoy the amenities during our stay. Everything was beautiful about this place. The beds were just as comfy as the other reviews said. We will be back in the future to stay at Vale Ranch. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Right as I walked through the door it felt welcoming and peaceful. Lots of beautiful natural sunlight, with everything you could possibly need for a good stay right in front of you, ready to go. There were complimentary slippers next to the door, along with bath soap and clean towels by the bathtub

Loved my stay at Martha’s ranch! It was so beautiful and you could see so many stars! She was kind, helpful and informative. The house was so cute and very clean. Will definitely be back soon!

We just completed our second stay at The Monarc ranch, in the Among the Crepe Myrtles. 9 years ago, my mom and I visited for a mother daughter trip. This year, she (now 93) and I allowed my husband, sister and BIL to come along. The house was the same as we remembered (inviting, clean, and so relaxing), along with the yummy homemade biscuits and muffins. Loved on the kitties, saw deer and cows in the field. We also saw an eagle's nest and were able to capture some pics. Perfect get away with family. Book this if you want the best relaxing experience and close proximity to everything! The place was quiet. We enjoyed being able to walk over to the Texas Wine Collective. Our cabin was clean and homey and we were able to bring our dog along.

I had an excellent stay at this charming spot in Fredericksburg. The place was super cute, cozy, and just quick drive from downtown, which made it easy to explore all the shops, restaurants, and wineries. It was the perfect home base for a weekend getaway. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. I’d absolutely stay here again!

We were originally scheduled to stay in unit 11, but the water wasn't working and they couldn't figure it out, so they swapped us to the brand new unit 1!!! WOW! Much nicer! I know there is a price difference, but due to the inconvenience, they didn't charge us. Definitely request 1-9 if you can...not 10-12. Those are older and smaller.

Gästehaus Schmidt was the perfect spot for my wife and I’s relaxing weekend! The little cottage was filled with character and detail. My wife and I had such a peaceful stay, one of our favorite moments was eating the pastries they left for us while bird watching. We will definitely look for this listing on our next return to Fredericksburg!

Had a great stay here for a girls weekend getaway with my best friend! We enjoyed the hot tub & the proximity to Main Street.

Listed as "no heat". We were there on a cold rainy weekend and we're pleased to find a heat setting on the AC! Super comfy bed, nice linens. Coffee pods were supplied, a little short on creamer though. Bath instructions worked perfectly. Just turn on the hot water and let it run until it turns cool. perfect temp and covered the jets. Hand held shower was great, a lot of power! Location was amazing just a 10 minute walk to Main. We recommend highly!

Exceeded all expectations! Beautiful and relaxing. Only wish I could have stayed longer. Great spot for listening to the bird songs from the rocking chairs on the front porch. Hope to return some time.

Adorable cabin, rural but close to everything. We were greeted by ( fenced in) goats & enjoyed coffee on the porch. The details were impressive: great linens, towels, pristine cabin. We walked down the road & saw long horns & llamas. Visited many wineries, breweries and Luckenbach- the cabin was close to everything & we SO enjoyed it! Only 5 min to downtown Fredricksburg.
