Located just off US-29 and US-460, this private downstairs studio apartment is less than 4 miles from the airport, Liberty University, restaurants and shopping. Guests will have their own access to the downstairs space using a separate keypad entry. The property is located in a safe and friendly neighborhood with several cul-de-sacs to enjoy walks. Go for a walk or bike ride on the 28 plus acres or pretty rural lanes. 2.5 miles away is Lake Robertson for activities . Sit on the porch too! On a snowy night, enjoy the wd-burning fireplace . (We will often leave fireplace prepared to light. Gas heating also). Get cozy with the full kitchen, washer/dryer, games and books. DirecTv in the living room and bedroom. too!

With miles of trails, the Bluff is a perfect place for botany or photography or plain old serenity. Note: there’s no TV, children must be supervised at all times and alcohol/tobacco/etc are not allowed on the property.

Scott School Cottage Stay at Scott School

Scott School was a Campbell County one-room school from 1905 to 1928. In 2010, Scott School was renovated and serves as a lovely tea room and quiet location for guests. The cottage is complete with two bedrooms (one twin, one full), central HVAC, full kitchen, and televisions. Points of interest nearby are: Red Hill-last home and burial place of Patrick Henry (5 miles), University of Lynchburg (30 miles), Liberty University (25 miles), Randolph College (30 miles), and Appomattox (22 miles).

A quiet cottage for young and old alike! Situated on a farm with hiking trails, creeks & streams! Coffee, tea, cream, sweeteners and snacks await you! The "Kitchen" includes coffeemakers, fridge, microwave, toaster oven and a 2 burner hot plate with all necessities to cook (there is no standard oven or kitchen sink - if needed we will pick up your dishes and clean them for you!). Fresh linens and towels are provided. The cabin dates back to the 1800's and was recently restored.

One bedroom, basement apartment in well kept house. The apartment is furnished with antiques and set on the corner of a farm with good views. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.
