This magical A-frame cabin was the perfect peaceful escape for my husband, our dog, and me. Tucked right on the water, it offered instant tranquility with stunning views from inside and out. The cabin is beautifully designed with cozy touches and thoughtful details that made us feel right at home. We loved kayaking, unplugging, and just soaking in the quiet. Our dog had the time of her life jumping into the lake, chasing geese, and running freely in the enclosed yard and deck. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, offering great suggestions and making the experience seamless. We didn’t want to leave. Peaceful, cozy, beautiful—1000% coming back. This place is a gem!

My buddy and I went for a weekend getaway and it was great. The place was cozy, really clean and organized. The property itself was amazing as well, it has a huge yard with a water source where you can fish and/or kayak. Firewood was provided for the fire pit so that was a big plus. Overall it was a nice and peaceful retreat. Thank you for your hospitality Alan, we look forward to coming back

Had a great time here. Was a perfect home and location for my husbands 40th surprise birthday party. Jessica thought of every small detail in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We really appreciated the fully stocked coffee bar. Home was very unique and beautiful. We had a lot of kids stay and it was great for our older kids ages 12+ but if you are staying with toddlers might want to reconsider because of the hanging staircase and steep stairs to the game room. This home is for a stay with older kids for sure. I wouldn’t change the hanging staircase as it’s very beautiful and unique just keep that in mind when booking. The property was gorgeous we spent a lot of time out on the water. My daughter caught a huge bass right away on lake access in the backyard. Game room had every game you could think of. Not a moment of boredom staying here it was truly a wonderful stay highly recommend this place.

We loved our time here. The fishing in the river was great, the house was looked exactly as it is pictured and is so peaceful and relaxing. The house has a great setup for entertaining also! Lorinda is a wonderful host. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend staying here!!

Need more than 5 Stars for this visit. Courtney is a wonderful host. The house is exactly how you see it in the pictures and so very clean. Courtney has thought of every little detail to make your stay effortless. Awesome coffee bar, comfortable beds, charging station in the bedrooms, information about the town and the historic house and so much more. Location is fabulous - who doesn't love the short walking distance to the delicious Wiseman House Chocolates? We had a delightful time visiting Hico and staying at this little Home in Hico.

We enjoyed our weekend at the Cabin in the Woods. It was very cozy and private. The surrounding trees are gorgeous and the weather was perfect for dining on the patio. All the furniture is very comfortable from the couch to the bed. Brandi was an excellent host!

We enjoyed the dock, lake, kayaks and the fire pits. It was a wonderful place! We will be back!

Perfect country home. Kids had a blast in the pool and playing outside. It was a perfect glimpse of country life.

The house had everything we needed! The decor was so interesting and fun. We loved the record player, records and games. The four bedrooms and two baths were great. The weather made sitting on the patio very comfortable. The kitchen was very conducive for cooking. The drive to the square was easy and convenient. It was a great weekend. Thank you!

A beautiful view of the lake any time of the day. The back deck is amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The house had a great layout, and we loved the large kitchen, comfy furniture, and having onsite laundry.

Great place. Very clean. Well stocked. Totally bummed that we picked the one weekend that it was cold 🥶 but the pool looked awesome and the lake looked calm. Will stay again!

Zelda’s place was an awesome home that was like a tucked away paradise! Very private and secluded, but still with a lot to do in the area. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and after the long days at the field we wanted peace and quiet. We found just that! I wish we could have stayed longer. The sunsets were absolutely amazing! I also enjoyed drinking my coffee on the dock hearing the fish flop around in the water. The house was perfect for our family of five and had all the things we needed. It's also close enough to stores for last minute things. Thank you Liz! ♥️

This definitely is one of our top favorite stays; words cannot describe how peaceful & beautiful the surrounding land was, but the house was so calm, comfortable and made us feel right at home. It was large & spacious, and absolutely would be a great space for a large family to relax comfortably.

The house was wonderful. The attention to detail was great, they had everything you’d need!! Perfect for traveling with pets, very comfortable. Location is perfect, we loved being able to walk to restaurants, shopping etc Would stay again!!

Stayed here for two nights and actually ended up extending my stay by another day. It was comfortable, relaxing and just what I needed before getting on the road to leave state. He answered all my questions and everything was very clear, checking out was easy as pie. Thank you, I loved your area!

I stayed in this beautiful home for 5 nights, and it was clean, well-stocked, and private. Cathy had everything decorated for Halloween; it was adorable! It was the perfect location to meet up with my mother. This host has thought of everything and is very responsive. I would recommend checking out this Airbnb if you are in the Lake Grandbury area. It was a great stay!!
