Words cannot express how much we loved this place. The cabin was super beautiful and clean. Our favorite part was hanging out with the animals and getting to know Alex. Thank you Alex for your stories and the warm person that you are and thank you Jeanette for making communication easy and being such a lovely host. We can't wait to come back. -Christiana

Sherri is a wonderful host. Their home is set up well for groups. Our family of 6 was very comfortable in the home with enough space for us all to sleep and hang out. Sherri was helpful with recommendations and flexible with requests. Their home is very near Oakhurst but also private and in nature. We were pleasantly surprised by seeing a deer our first night. Also, the house is well stocked with board games. We had an enjoyable family celebration and getaway to Yosemite. We look forward to visits again.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Jared and Morgan were very upfront on what to expect. If/when we return to the area we would definitely look at staying at the Ophir Inn.

I have been staying here for a few years. I stay here on average 4 times a year. My dogs love staying here! They poke their heads out the window when I pull up to the gate, and happily bark. We take walks around the pasture. The Hosts' dogs loves to greet us with barks of joy. I love feeding their horses apples. They will follow me around the fence line demanding more snacks. It is in the country but very close to stores. This is a great place for those that want to be out of town but need to be close to Sacramento or Davis. This area is part of the Delta which means water is nearby. Mosquitoes are plenty in shady areas but so are birds. The last time I was there, I did hear a seal!! That surprised me! Peacocks like to make themselves heard down the road. I have seen coyotes in the area. I watched one of the horses chase a turkey out of the pasture. I have enjoyed moon watching many times here. The sunsets are beautiful! The house is comfortable and clean. You can sit outside.

This place is amazing for a holiday retreat. You wake up to the sound of roosters surrounded by all kinds of farm animals, I loved it! The house itself is very cute and cozy. We loved the handmade sink. The host were extremely caring and helpful explaining all the little details for arrival.

Best airBnB experience we’ve ever had. We already miss Scootch the herd dog, our host, the horses, the chickens and their fresh eggs, feeding the cows and new baby born calf, and the great views of snow capped mountains. Was a short half hour drive to downtown Tahoe, but we had more fun being on the ranch. The host took care of us like we were family. Unforgettable memories for us and our kids. ❤️😌

Clean room with clean bathroom! Quiet location with nice area to sit outside in the evening. Was comfortable staying here while we visited Yosemite for the weekend. Was in a great location from the park. Just plan for the fact that there is no stove: we had to mostly eat out or eat sandwiches/cold food but we didn’t mind that.

My partner and I spent a night at Curtis’ farm stay and had a lovely time. Said hi to some of the animals and walked around the grounds, which were really beautiful. Friendly farm staff too! Would definitely stay again!

I loved staying at the tiny house. The place was so cute and comfortable. The setting was quiet, peaceful, and private, making it a wonderful spot to work and rest. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The fresh eggs from their chickens were a bonus! I would absolutely stay here again.

The place was perfect it’s really what we needed.

Needed a place to stay near Yosemite that was 1) available, and 2) not overly expensive. This cabin fit the bill. Having just drove “The General’s Highway” from Hospital Rock through both Sequoia NP and Kings Canyon, the drive to Yosemite was a piece of cake from the cabin. Being just over 30 miles from the Arch Rock Entrance made it a breeze to get there. If I were going to spend multiple days at the park instead of just one, perhaps the drive might have gotten old but still doable. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable with a nice, scenic outdoor area. The host, Sharon was always very responsive and helpful.

Thank you Natalie for opening your home, we made great memories with our family, my kids had a great time we loved the river and the small hike, great to relax, the view was perfect and peaceful definitely recommend this house to any one traveling this way, rooms blankets and towels were super clean, lots of space and kid friendly. One of the best homes I have stayed. Would definitely come again. Thank you ❤️

1000% will stay here again! If you’re looking for a slice of the mountain life, look no further than Sierra Cider’s loft. From the mountain views and quiet surroundings to the small town charm of Mariposa and Oakhurst, you really get a taste of what it is like living away from it all without sacrificing comfort. I really enjoyed my morning walks through the orchard with my cup of coffee. And you can’t beat the proximity to the tasting room for a glass of their handcrafted cider. The team at Sierra Cider really made me feel welcomed and that I could live in the space without feeling like I couldn’t explore the property. I cannot recommend this spot enough. I’m already looking forward to my next stay. A big thank you to Dana, David and Nick for making it all possible. If you made it this far, just book the dang thing!

Absolutely a beautiful place inside and out! I loved the Peacocks coming to visit. The views were beautiful. It was nice watching the sunset while we were enjoying the hot tub.I highly recommend!

Excellent place, terrific host. We're in town from time to time for business in the Penryn area and this spot is super convenient to everything we love about the area "up the hill" - wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I have resided at Marilyn's cottage years before making for a very pleasant return. Updates to the place were well-placed, improving an already fantastic place. This speaks to Marilyn's eye for the importance of details as it relates to comfort. I would stay again.

Our stay at Mai and Andrew’s place was truly unforgettable! They were incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We arrived as a large group (9 adults, 1 baby, and a dog), and right from the beginning, we felt completely at home with more than enough space for everyone. Mai generously shared fresh eggs from her chickens, who roam freely around the beautiful property, along with their stunning horses. Andrew took the time to introduce our dog to the animals, which we really appreciated, as it made it possible for our pup to enjoy the grounds off-leash safely. Their farm looks like something out of a dream. We’re also so grateful for all the thoughtful recommendations. Mai told us about a tulip bloom in a nearby park and even arranged after-hours access for us, which made for a magical and unique experience. This stay was without a doubt one of the highlights of our Airbnb journey so far. We’d love to come back someday.

Cecilia’s place is in a very peaceful area and we felt very comfortable. Her pups Maggie and Rigg are also very welcoming and adorable. We’ll definitely come back.

Had a wonderful stay at Leah’s place. The swimming pool is the best pool I’ve ever used. It is always so warm and relaxing. The grounds are extremely private and beautiful with so much incredible sights and sounds of nature. Unfortunately we had to leave abruptly due to unforeseen circumstances and Leah’s communication was extremely proactive and quick. We truly enjoyed her place and can’t wait to return.

We were looking for a peaceful dog-friendly stay for our trip out to Amador wine country and Michael & Clint's property delivered! The shipping container concept was brilliant and we looked forward to spending time on the deck. We were thrilled when we got there to find that the deck was fully enclosed which allowed us to take the leashes off! We had a great evening eating outside under the lights then turning everything off and enjoying the night sky. We will definitely return with our dogs on our next trip! As a side note we have previously stayed in Plymouth, Jackson and Mokelumne Hill where there is a dearth of electric car chargers. This location was ideal for running up to Placerville, charging our car while enjoying espresso drinks at Pachamama Coffee.
